@jens_mikkelsen As further evidence of my tech collection problem, I submit a photo of PS/2-USB mouse/keyboard adapters & splitters. I'm almost certain I haven't used PS/2 in 10 years, but in the day, these (along with a wired network switch) were key and oft-forgotten pieces of consulting gear.

@jens_mikkelsen You don't want to see my boxes of cables and converters. In 2009, I threw away an Osborne box full what I considered to be obsolete then.

In 199?, I could not afford a sound card for my first PC. I downloaded a software driver for the PC speaker and added a potentiometer to control the volume. Recently I stumbled across the old parts. In those days, one did not have the choice to avoid knowledge of hardware.

@sitecorey I would try to program it to play with Mono (.NET). That is an attempt at a pun.

@RPeplau @josenetofl Ektron tells me everything that I need to know.

@cmsvortex @josenetofl learned Powershell in a week, getting crazy with import scripts from Ektron

I finally wrote that program to prune duplicates out of my media library.

@RPeplau Because my PowerShell skills are about as strong as my Java skills.
