Was listening to the @fejau_inc interview with @VincentDeluard and he mentioned that for the years we have a poor Q1, we've bottomed on the third Friday of March due to funds having to re-allocate from bonds to equities to rebalance their 60:40 portfolios. This creates a mechanical flow into stocks that could put in bottom for equities. Pulled some data and sure enough, it does look like stocks tend to bounce in the second half of March when Q1 is down. Maybe not the third Friday, but close enough 2022 Q1 bottomed March 8th, Tues 2020 Q1 bottomed March 23rd, Mon 2009 Q1 bottomed March 9th, Mon 2008 Q1 bottomed March 8th, Mon Also compared it to some BTC charts and saw a pretty high correlation during these periods. And considering the bid depth on BTC for major exchanges, I think there's a strong chance of BTC bouncing here for the next two weeks or so.
