@notthreadguy this profession do not need spotlighting tho just v different compared to a level headed, completely neutral, emotionally and disciplinaly mature being a trader requires, and u do nothing most of the time so its pretty boring

traders would be more attractive to women than pro athletes if they could properly articulate what they do it’s easier to get drafted to the nfl than get hired at jane street out of college there was an oil trade this past week more impressive than bam adebayo scoring 83 points the general public doesn’t understand how difficult and cool trading actually is. not course selling slop but real PVP in the orderbooks communication is the only barrier. a profitable trader is obviously the dream job
