Pinnacle High School canceled an on campus appearance by Turning Point USA leader Erika Kirk after a surge of complaints from students and parents who refused to accept a political stunt during school hours. Principal Jeremy Richards told families the event was being moved off campus and pushed until after the final bell, warning it could disrupt the school day and create serious issues. Students spoke clearly: - “I don’t know why she’s coming here, to be honest,” Francisco Sanchez, a senior at Pinnacle High School, told 12 News Phoenix before the event was moved.
