@morellifit Does higher resting heart rate matter if your just doing a short cycle? 8-10 weeks?

People believe the strongest GLP-1 is the best GLP-1. Stronger isn't always better. Sometimes stronger means more weight loss and more long-term damage at the same time. I've run 6 different cycles of retatrutide ranging from 10 to 16 weeks, and coached over 500 others through it. The fat loss results have been extraordinary, especially when nutrition and training are dialed in. Compared to tirzepatide, reta has: - Less nausea - Less motility issues (no diarrhea, no constipation) - Faster, more aggressive fat loss On paper, it's the king. But there's one drawback which I don't like. Retatrutide raises resting heart rate roughly 2 to 3 times as much as tirzepatide. And it doesn't fully come back down. I can handle a few beats per minute. But when you're sitting 10, 12, 15 bpm above baseline for the entire cycle, you're trading fat loss for longevity. That's not a trade I'm willing to make. Resting heart rate is one of the most predictive biomarkers we have for all-cause mortality. A meta-analysis of 46 studies and 1.2 million patients found every 10 bpm increase in resting heart rate corresponds to a 9% increase in all-cause mortality and an 8% increase in cardiovascular mortality. A sustained 10 to 15 bpm bump from retatrutide is a measurable hit to your long-term mortality curve, in exchange for faster fat loss now. This is how I think about choosing between the two: If someone has 100 lbs to lose and metabolic disease is killing them, retatrutide is probably worth the trade. The mortality risk from severe obesity dwarfs the RHR bump. If someone has 20 lbs of vanity weight to lose and a resting heart rate of 55 from years of training, retatrutide is the wrong tool. The trade-off isn't worth it. So I just started a tirzepatide cycle. Extremely minimal dose, 1.5 mg per week, split into three 0.5 mg shots every other day. The difference so far: A small amount of nausea, barely worth mentioning, that I never got on reta. But my resting heart rate hasn't moved at all through the first week. For the lean optimizer, tirzepatide sits in a much better risk-adjusted spot: - Strong fat loss - Minimal RHR drift - Better BP improvements in the long-term data The peptide community defaults to "stronger drug, better drug", but that's not how cardiovascular pharmacology works. Retatrutide is going to be a phenomenal drug for the right patient. But for now, I'll be using tirzepatide.

RETATRUTIDE IS ABSOLUTELY SENDING CHOLESTEROL TO THE SHADOW REALM 🔥 Triple agonist just dropped a nuke on lipids and it’s not even Phase 3 finished yet. 48 weeks in and the numbers are looking PARABOLIC: • Non-HDL cholesterol down 26.9% • ApoB (atherogenic killer) down 24.2% • Triglycerides -40.6% • ApoC-III -38% • Big triglyceride - obliterated • Small dense LDL - obliterated HDL particle size improving, lipoprotein insulin resistance score dropping… this thing is cleaning house on the entire atherogenic profile.

I don’t seem to recall three Bishops doing a lengthy interview with 60 Minutes to denounce President Biden’s policies that unleashed unrestricted chemical abortion pills into every state and killed over 700,000 children made in God’s image last year alone.

Hugely consequential decision allowing Morgan Stanley to transfer $85 billion of broker-dealer assets to its insured bank. Precedent setting and reminiscent of similar moves in 2007-08. This is the first time I can recall the Fed ever approving a regulatory action by 4-3 vote.

BREAKING: David @friedberg says "California is functionally bankrupt" "People don't realize how screwed California is, & I worry that if California falls, so does the union. "$250 billion to $1 trillion short." "This is because for California to get rescued would be a big cost to red states, & I think it creates in the years ahead a lot of tension." "California's functional bankruptcy is a major risk to the country. & I think we need to figure out what we can change to fix it." How we got here: "California has a public pension system, & that public pension system retirees have paid into it & they get some benefits out, & the amount that they're owed back out is somewhere between $250 billion - $1 trillion dollars more than has been paid in. $250 billion to $1 trillion short. If it was the federal government, it would be like, okay, we'll just print more money. California doesn't have the ability to print money, so California has to pay this out, and you can't restructure retirement benefits. There is a Supreme Court case in California that said that once an employee has been offered retirement benefits, even if they're currently an employee, you can never restructure their retirement benefits. It has to stay forever, and the state cannot declare bankruptcy. There's no way for the state to functionally declare bankruptcy. There's no law to allow it. No state has ever declared bankruptcy, and the retirement benefits sit senior to the bonds in California. So you have to pay out the retirement benefits before you pay out all the bond holders that have loaned California the money that they use to run all their programs and services." California will be bankrupt by 2030. If you’re expecting a state pension, it is at risk. If you don’t believe it, check Grok or Gemini and explore how California politicians changed the reporting rules on your pension so they could hide how underwater it is. The middle class citizens of California will soon be asked to pay a huge price to bail out the state. Why them? Because that is where most of the wealth of California resides. It’s easy to single out “billionaires” but there aren’t many of them and they can and will all leave before the bottom falls out. They are leaving in droves already. The mismanagement in California is biblical - and the scale is huge because it’s the world’s 4th largest economy. California politicians and their henchmen are now entering the coverup phase where they can no longer hide their financial incompetence so they are taking from average California residents to try and hide what they’ve done: You will soon see ballot initiatives with fancy tiles like “billionaire tax”. But those are lies. They are mechanisms to tax everything, every way: Excise taxes Wealth taxes Private property confiscation It’s all happening now. If you want to preserve California, you will need to stand up because California has become a kleptocracy.

California politicians just moved AB 1421 through the Assembly — a bill that orders the state to build a mileage tax system by 2027. Not "study." Not "explore." Implement. That means tracking every mile you drive — then taxing you for it. On top of gas taxes. On top of registration fees. On top of sales taxes. On top of local transportation taxes. This is a commuter punishment aimed straight at working families who drive to work, drive their kids to school, and drive to pick up groceries. Sound familiar? SANDAG tried this exact scheme right here in San Diego County. Residents found out. Commuters spoke up. Small businesses pushed back. They backed down. We stopped it once. We'll stop it again.

The State of California has been run top to bottom by one party since 2011. Here are their results: 1) highest state income tax 2) highest rate of poverty 3) highest rate of unemployment 4) highest rate of homelessness 5) highest energy costs Hard to explain this away.

Wake up California! Apathetic voters have been towing the “party line” and voting in the same Party since 2011. Look at the results… When will you realize the damage you are enabling? Why won’t you demand real progress for your vote?!?! Your tacit support of these policies with no demand for accountability or progress has made the most incredible State in the Union into a dumpster fire.
