We still don't have any news from Twitter. We are honored that so many of you have chosen us as the way to browse Twitter for the past 12+ years and hope it can continue. In the meantime, we have been working on something else… tapbots.com/ivory

Trying to figure out what to listen to as I go about washing my hair and my evening routine, and realised @yrfatfriend’s new book has dropped into Audible. That will do nicely! Hopefully the paper copy goes into the mail soon.

@DocAvvers This is why I do the meds box thing now. If there are still meds in the Tuesday Bed section, I haven’t taken them. I just have to remember to keep refilling the damn thing!

@surelysarah I had to use my grandparents $100 as cash this year for reasons (my uncle’s eftpos gift card couldn’t be used online) but I can only imagine the cashier’s face if I’d presented them with 20 $5 notes instead of the $100 one 🤦🏻‍♀️

I forgot to tell you all my Xmas present story. My in-laws gave me a book. I said thanks etc but as I went to put it aside, I was told “no you have to look inside!” Expecting a gift card or something, I flip through the pages and find a $5 note. “Keep going!”

@surelysarah Take them to an ATM that lets you deposit them. Who uses cash in these times of plague?! (My grandmother, who insists on only giving birthday/Christmas money with a $100 note)

Is this a playful and amusing thing to do to a loved one or am I an ungrateful wretch who is too serious most of the time? I’ll save you the trouble, it’s the latter. But now what am I going to do with all these $5 notes?
