@joelomeje16 @WolfofX Not to be pedantic (actually, maybe I am), but how many feet are in a "few meters", and is it more than 6?

@WolfofX If your digging for a garden plant , it doesn't go more than a few meters For bodies they have to dig 6 feet , how do you plant things then? Or do they actually feel the holes back when they are done ?

The vibecoders are starting to give up because they're learning AI can't do everything for you. They're tools that are powerful in the hands of people who can code, but vibecoders are not real devs.

THERE IS NO TALENT POOL. IT'S ALL FRAUD. THE INDIANS DON'T HAVE ADVANCED SKILLS OR CREDENTIALS. IT. IS. ALL. FRAUD. And it’s BACKED by the INDIAN GOVERNMENT for remittance money. YOU ARE UNDER AN INVASION.

Bloomberg: India Seeks Access for Workers in US Trade Talks After H-1B Blow If true, this is a humiliating admission from GOI that it is unable to create opportunities for its own talent pool. A self-defeating, but sadly chronic disability. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

@maner_travis @LASHYBILLS Because if you can't do the bare minimum to keep a car legal to drive, you are are danger to society. It takes less than an hour for a full inspection, less than 15min if just doing emissions. It's not that hard, and it's a responsibility you have if you own a car.

A Brinks armored car driver in Cobb County, Georgia was pulled over and arrested for expired tags on the truck. Due to the company’s strict protocol the driver Tyrell Hall refused to open the door, telling police they could follow him to a secure location to issue the ticket. Things escalated when the cops decided to arrest him instead, leading to a chaotic scene where the driver repeatedly yelled for them to get their hands off him. Charges were later dropped, but Brinks fired him anyway. He's now suing both the Cobb County PD wrongful arrest and Brinks for wrongful termination and failing to maintain the vehicle’s tag.

@tainekschmaal @SamaHoole @GaryH72058 I think you're missing the point. The bison fertilized the pastures with their excrement as they grazed. It was a symbiotic system between the grass and the ruminates.

Phosphorus cannot be manufactured. It cannot be synthesised from air like nitrogen, which is what the Haber-Bosch process does. It has to be mined. Phosphate rock. A sedimentary deposit formed from the accumulated bones and excrement of ancient marine organisms, compressed over millions of years into stone. You find it in Morocco, in China, in the western United States. You dig it up, process it into fertiliser, and spread it on fields. Modern agriculture requires it. Without synthetic phosphorus fertiliser, global crop yields would drop by an estimated 50%. The Green Revolution, the one Norman Borlaug won the Nobel Prize for, the one credited with saving a billion lives, is not simply a story of improved seeds. It is a story of phosphorus. The seeds need the phosphorus. The phosphorus needs the mines. Morocco controls approximately 70% of the world's remaining known phosphate reserves. One country. Phosphate rock is not recyclable in any meaningful sense once applied to fields. It runs off into waterways, binds to soil, feeds algae blooms in the Gulf of Mexico and the Chesapeake Bay and Lake Erie, and it is gone. Dissipated. Unrecoverable. Global reserves, at current extraction rates, will last somewhere between 300 and 400 years. Some estimates say less. The USGS revised its reserve figures significantly downward in 2011 after a methodology review. The revision was not widely reported. When the phosphate runs out, the fertiliser runs out. When the fertiliser runs out, the yields collapse. When the yields collapse, the food system that replaced the prairies and the bison and the Ogallala Aquifer has nowhere left to go. The people who describe grass-fed beef as an unsustainable use of land have presumably not done the phosphorus maths. The cow eats grass. The grass grows back. Nobody mines anything.

🚨 do you understand what New York City just accidentally admitted.. NYC spent $81,705 per homeless person last year.. the median American household earned $81,228.. the government spent MORE to keep someone homeless than most families earned to keep themselves housed.. that $81,705 isn't going to the homeless person.. it's going to the system around them.. shelters, administrators, case managers, contracts, overhead.. the industry that manages homelessness.. not the end of it.. if NYC gave every homeless person that money directly.. they could afford nearly 2 years of rent.. most of them wouldn't be homeless anymore.. instead the money goes to the system.. the system keeps running.. the homelessness stays.. and every year they ask for more funding to manage the problem that the funding was supposed to solve.. the homeless are worth $81,705 a year to the system.. they're worth nothing to it solved..

Any company that has layoffs should be banned from requesting new foreign visa workers of any kind for at least 5 years. They shouldn’t be able to renew or convert to green card either
Hedgie@HedgieMarkets

🦔While Oracle was sending 6am termination emails to between 20,000 and 30,000 employees this week, the company had filed roughly 3,126 H-1B petitions to hire foreign workers in fiscal years 2025 and 2026, including 436 filed this year alone. H-1B petitions are required when companies seek to hire foreign workers in specialty occupations like technology. Amazon, which has cut 30,000 corporate employees since October, filed 2,675 H-1B petitions over the same period. My Take The official justification for H-1B filings is that companies need specialized skills unavailable domestically. The honest explanation in most cases is cheaper labor. H-1B workers are often paid less than their American counterparts for equivalent roles and are tied to their employer through visa sponsorship, which limits their ability to negotiate or leave. Oracle didn't lay off 18% of its workforce because those people lacked skills. It laid them off to free up $8-10 billion in cash flow to service AI infrastructure debt. Filing hundreds of foreign worker petitions in the same period is a cost structure decision, and the people who got that 6am email and then saw these filings have every right to be angry about it. 🚨 Bret Weinstein and Jeffrey Tucker expose the agenda to demonize Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine: “Every trick in the book was played.” “The idea is: you have to keep the population panicked.” “Hydroxychloroquine was taken off the map with a diabolical study in which people were wildly overdosed, and people died.” “It was made to look dangerous when it wasn't.” “You can't do that with Ivermectin because it's not toxic enough.” “It's almost impossible to give somebody enough to kill them.” “So they did other things.” “They ran studies in which they wildly underdosed.” “But the real question is, why would they bother if it's really useless?” “And I'm afraid that the answer has to be [that] if you allow people to use Ivermectin, they will discover how effective it is.” “Like hydroxychloroquine, it is generally useful against RNA viruses.” “At that point, when you introduce the vaccine, nobody will want it because there's a safe alternative.” “Why would I take something that turns out to be a gene therapy?” “There's an off-the-shelf drug that does it and costs nothing.” Tucker: “[There was] a phrase in there that drove Fauci and others crazy.” “Which was that we can get through this with natural immunity through exposure and recovery.” “That document came out about 3 weeks before the vaccine rollout.” “That was the reason they had to eliminate every possible alternative apart from injection as a solution.” @jeffreytucker @brownstoneinst @BretWeinstein

@b_rent__ @CryptoZeddd @lporiginalg Ahhh, but if 50% is the correct answer, and there is only 1 of 4 answers listed as 50%, a random selection would only have 25% chance of hitting it. The paradox answer is correct. Since it's THIS question, and at RANDOM, with these answers there is 0% chance to be correct.

@CryptoZeddd @lporiginalg youre missing a key word in the question. If you pick at RANDOM, it's a 25% chance. So 25% as a number is correct, and since 25% makes up 50% of the choices, 50% would be correct. No paradox.

@Sir_radington @TheDoctor_X_ @Templarpilled Actually, you can change the past, what you cant change is the past that you (the time-traveler) directly experienced without causing a paradox. Having a quick reaction force that are isolated from news use it to respond to a death eater attack is perfectly viable.

This isn’t a small deal. Restaurant Depot is where most mom & pop restaurants go to buy inventory because Sysco is so expensive. Restaurant Depot was privately owned. Sysco is owned by… you guessed it, BlackRock & Vanguard. Now private equity can control pricing for food costs with zero competition. Just like they did with housing. This should be an anti-trust violation, but we have politicians that work for Big Corp, not us.
Jonathan Maze@jonathanmaze

Notable deal in distribution this morning. Sysco is buying Restaurant Depot for $29 billion. Plans to expand RD more aggressively. It gives Sysco a huge entry into cash-and-carry and a large number of independent restaurant customers. restaurantbusinessonline.com/financing/sysc…
