@yukke_takusan @alexhoward78 @pondebekkio The issue is based on the rules Ohtani was actually the one at fault. There was a runner at 1st which the batter must do anything in their power to get out of the way of the catcher if they're trying to throw, otherwise it can be ruled interference.

It's not a strawman. It's the exact move the meme describes. And China didn't adopt "more capitalist policies." It adopted market policies. Markets are a tool. Capitalism is an ownership ideology that treats private property as a right and holds that economic decisions should be made by private actors with minimal state interference. China uses markets while the state owns all land, controls capital flows, owns major industries, and retains override authority over every private enterprise in the country. That's not capitalism with extra steps. That's an authoritarian state using markets as an instrument of state policy. Calling that "more capitalist" is confusing the screwdriver with the ideology of the person holding it.
