Nate uses external aggregators, which by definition only see ~50–60% of the actual network (due to rate limits and closed X data).
When the Head of Product says “missing half the network,” that’s not an opinion, it’s an insider’s fact.
The graph itself is useful, but it should be viewed as a partial view, not as an objective picture of the entire platform.
The ecosystem isn’t “broken”, it has simply stopped being artificially skewed in one direction. That’s what a fix looks like.

AI editor, super polls, Live Photos, and bots that create other bots - everything looks really cool and genuinely useful.
I’d just like to add one important point.
Unfortunately, Telegram still doesn’t work fully in Russia. Many users regularly face unstable connections, the need for VPNs, blocked features, and other limitations that prevent us from comfortably using all the messenger’s capabilities.
It would be great if everything finally “falls into place” in the near future, and Russian users could use all of Telegram’s features freely and without any hassle, just like users in other countries.
Telegram for us is not just a messenger - it’s one of the few remaining islands of real freedom of communication. We really hope it stays that way for everyone ❤️

As a builder and leader of several active projects/tracks on Solana, I’ve seen the exact pipeline you’re describing - way too many times. The trenches can genuinely change lives with 10-50x that feels like free money… but they also quietly break the reference point for what “normal” effort and reward even mean. After that, sitting in a 9-5 or grinding on something that takes months feels like withdrawal.
We deliberately build our projects for longevity - real product, real community, real utility - not just the next 8-second flip. It’s slower, it’s harder, and sometimes the chart looks dead while we ship. But that’s the only way to create something that survives after the dopamine leaves the chat.
The casinos and the “use code DEGEN” KOLs are just the logical next screen. They didn’t create the addiction - they’re monetizing the one the trenches already installed.
Solana gives us insane speed and tools. The question is how we choose to use them: as builders or as another slot machine.
Appreciate you calling it out. More of us in leadership positions need to say the same thing instead of pretending the dark side doesn’t exist.
If you’re in the cycle and reading this, it’s not weak to step back. It’s the strongest move you can make.
