@felmiepell //I used to trace too it's pretty good for getting a hand at style!! Another good tip I use to practice sometime take a drawing from another trace the basic shapes but other then that finish the drawing on your own I usually do this with stippling!!

@felmiepell // If anything, what I do is take a picture of an aspect of someone's artstyle and I practice doing it on my own time. That's how I ended up doing eyes the way I do. I studied someone's artstyle. And that's perfectly allowed too!

@egretswan || i felt the need to ask because i'm super duper new to drawing and i've heard that tracing, if used correctly, is also good for beginners to practice!! however, it's also very easy to get lost along the way in tracing and end up doing things wrong

@felmiepell // I mean, as long as you're not tracing over someone's work and claiming it as your own, you're okay! I tend to get pictures of irl ppl and trace over the general outline of their head since I'm not the best with anatomy. I'm still making my own thing completely, just had help
