I think this whole discourse stems from the fact that Squirrel Girl is a fairly sexualized character in Rivals, which created this weird negative stigma around her cosmetics. Magik gets very visibly whiter in her Punkchild skin, but there was no outrage for that. Because she's not as stigmatized. This is a non-issue that people are overreacting about because they need something to be angry about. Go outside yall.
