Today, DHS law enforcement was conducting a targeted operation in Minneapolis against an illegal alien wanted for violent assault. During the operation, an individual approached U.S. Border Patrol officers with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun. The officers attempted to disarm the suspect but the armed suspect violently resisted. Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots. This violence is directly fueled by hateful rhetoric from Minnesota's sanctuary politicians. It must end now.

@Sling Really bad to have service go down during marquee sports event. But what was really shameful was your complete lack of honesty or respect for customers--No message on social media or website--And didn't bother to tell customers about other ways they could have viewed.

Its too easy to blame the caregiver for these Atria Senior Living deaths. Was there any investigation of whether the @AtriaSL corporate culture led to this tragedy? Were Atria executives held accountable? I hope an overworked/underpaid caregiver isnt taking the fall for c-suite

Concerning well-researched story @ProPublica shows VA health system having much more difficulty recruiting doctors + nurses. Marked increase in rejection of job offers. Our Veterans deserve the best care. Worrisome if best MDs/RNs dont want to work at VA propublica.org/article/vetera…

Lee A. Lindquist, MD, MPH (@LeeLindquistMD) , chief of Geriatrics, and Jeanette Cheng, MD, current geriatrics fellow, discuss the complexities of diagnosing urinary tract infections (UTIs) in older adults. They highlight the importance of recognizing true UTI symptoms, the dangers of overdiagnosing asymptomatic bacteriuria, and the risks associated with unnecessary antibiotic use, including C. diff infections. breakthroughsforphysicians.nm.org/geriatrics-cli…
