@HystereticBeard Agreed! Very standard for chemistry work, as some other folks have stated in the discussion. We should be recognizing that each disciple may have differences in publishing norms and that does not and should not disqualify the work that was done!

The methods are still there. They're published alongside the article. They're present during review. This isn't hiding them; it's streamlining articles to the results and discussion.
