@Skelet1Snakepit @LucasBotkin As far as viewmodels, he was only a consultant and gave plenty of advice on how to handle the manipulation of fire arms. We studied a lot of his movements, techniques and principles to apply them across the board with the viewmodel animations. No mocap!

@Skelet1Snakepit @LucasBotkin Unfortunately this is a common misconception. Lucas only did mocap for the 3rd person characters to help create the visual identity of what we were aiming for, and maybe only a remnant of what we captured of him is in game.

I know I’m super late to this, but I have to ask since my brother just showed me the gun: Did you do the animations for the 9mm Daemon in Modern Warfare II (2022)? @hyper3d

@Hypo_Thermick Hey thanks! I’ll admit a lot of these aren’t super polished and many were just placeholders to get the animation system working, but I did think that at least getting the run anim to look good was important as that’s what I was doing the most when testing 🙂
