@garrynewman @INDUSTRIA_game There’s not all that much wrong with it, the problem was marketing it as a sandbox game Garry’s Mod 2 when it can’t and shouldn’t try to live up to that or be that. It needs to be its own special thing

I was skeptical at first of S&Box, because how do you make a successor to Garry’s Mod when it has DECADES worth of community content and tools already made
But S&Box does feel more like an actual game creator engine, like Roblox. The fact you can even publish and monetize on Steam is HUGE
Gmod is cool, but it’s undoubtedly a very old engine with tons of limitations
These games entirely hinge on the community of course, which needs time to simmer. I think in the long haul, S&Box will be a fantastic hub for people, both creators and players

@paracetamolumm Also, the two have different reasons. The russian expresses "oof” which is more and shows sympathy as “oof” can be a pained response.
The Ukrainian says “lmao” feeling it to be more justified or even underlying tension between the two, there is no sympathy, reasonably so.

@Austy2124 @xxiiHalcyon @WickedWizard15 To quickly clarify, the voices were not generative AI, they were text-to-speech. The same way siri has since they first came out, the actors come in and record a bunch of lines and vowels and then they use that for the future. All the actors were paid for their time and skill.
