@pbakaus I saw that the way I talk with Claude is not effective with Gemini or Codex and vice versa. It takes me a bit of time to adjust and get the most out of another model. Or maybe it’s just all in my head 🤪

I had to resort to Gemini and Codex this morning because Claude was down. Codex, on enterprise SaaS web app: *builds a sensible backend service, then completely destroys the UI of two well designed pages* Gemini, on a WebGL shader project: *immediately destroys two shaders and introduces syntax errors, then build 5 extremely lackluster toy shaders* Before you cry "skill issue", yes, maybe! But it was still beyond frustrating. We're very far from "yeah just reuse your AGENTS.md and skills and you're golden" when switching harnesses and models.

the answer was Cursor all along 😃 while we're messing about with our Claude Codes and Codex CLIs people that just kept using Cursor & optimized their workflows seem to be winning 🤦‍♂️ maybe it's my FOMO, but the other day I asked about which model to use between Opus 4.6 and Codex 5.3 People were like "use both". I'm thinking, how tf can I use Codex 5.3 in Claude Code and also not pay OpenAI 200 bucks too. Turns out most of them just use Cursor 🤷

Long-running agents are now available at cursor.com/agents for Ultra, Teams, and Enterprise plans. With our new harness, agents can complete much larger tasks. cursor.com/blog/long-runn…

Jokes aside, I took these Christmas completely off from work, and I feel energized. The first four days anxiety surged and I couldn’t stop thinking about it, but then I relaxed and it was way better

Today I would have lost a lead if I hadn’t followed up yesterday. That’s today’s lesson.

@erfantalimi @massimuntoni But at least in one scenario you're the one controlling the narrative, and you could not regret your inaction In January we started a project with a company after 3 years(!) from our first meeting. I kept writing him every 6 months because I believed we could be of value to them

@massimuntoni I've learned the opposite lesson. Following up isn't worth it 99% of the time. If leads don't respond, its likely due to shift in priorities/needs.

My next small bet is a book! "Quantum Physics for Absolute Beginners" In the book I explain often obscure concepts such as wave-particle duality, superposition, and entanglement, and shed some light on the applications of quantum physics in everyday life I am giving away 20 copies of the ebook FOR FREE In exchange I look for feedback and a review once the book is out To grab a copy, comment below and/or send me a DM so I can give you the book link! Thanks for your attention to this matter!

As simple as it gets: a. realize that the world won't crumble if I open an email, and I can just have more data to solve the issue, even if it's a difficult conversation OR b. wait for a moment with more energy (usually the morning) and make it the first thing I do

I still get anxious just at the idea of opening an email from a client sometimes. At the beginning of my journey I thought I'd just overcome it. But then I understood that these swings of energy are part of myself, and learned to recognize the symptoms and act accordingly

@theandreboso I know, I remember! But I'm not joking, there should be some psychological element at play here, that makes you relax about the rest of things you need to do, and focus on the things you want to do

@jubstuff I also launched Zero to Marketing when I was sick at home so it can’t be a coincidence!

I created the first 5 days of a 15-day marketing challenge while stuck at home with the flu. The initial feedback was pretty good! One of the most interesting insights I got from the handful of new founders who are testing it was that it gave them the push they needed to take action. They knew they had to do certain things but never actually did them. Unfortunately as I started to feel better and life went back to normal with all its other priorities my progress started to slow down. But the other day I went for a hike even though it was cold and now I’m sick again. I’ll take it as a sign that the universe really, really wants me to launch it 😅
