@ChidiOdinkalu @KennethOdoemene The report is unrelated to the comments made. It would be beneficial to focus on refuting his statements using legal facts.

@renoomokri Mr Reno, I thought you were appointed AN AMBASSADOR? What is it with these juvenile tweets? Is this what Nigeria is paying you for? To attack political opponents on behalf of APC? As an ambassador, you should be non-partisan for God's sake!

Peter Obi Is Just Jealous That Whereas He Was Detained At Heathrow Airport, President Tinubu Is Being Celebrated By the King of England Look at the cars in the attached photo. Please fact-check me: Peter Obi bought 400 of these vehicles for Anambra Igwes when he was Anambra Governor, at a time when Anambra schools were on strike. At a time when Anambra doctors were on strike, and hospitals had been closed for 13 months. Yet, today, this same Peter Obi is accusing President Tinubu of spreading poverty by feasting whilst Nigerians are fasting. Mind you, this is the same President Tinubu of whose reforms The Economist Magazine reported last month that Nigeria's "golden years" are likely to return. The IMF listed Nigeria as the sixth-largest contributor to global GDP growth in 2025, a fact celebrated by Elon Musk, the world's richest man. And the World Bank has said they now cite Nigeria as a perfect example of reforms that work. Has President Tinubu been so reckless as to buy 400 cars for traditional rulers or any other groups of people in Nigeria and abroad? No! Instead, the President reduced his own entourage and ordered all his appointees to do the same. The issue here is that Peter Obi is just disgruntled. Why? Nigerians may recall that when Peter Obi travelled to London, England, he was detained at Heathrow Airport on Good Friday, April 7, 2023. After such a disgraceful treatment at the hands of British authorities, Peter Obi is agitated, distraught, and livid that President Tinubu is going to the same United Kingdom to be received by His Majesty, King Charles III, for the first State Visit by a Nigerian leader to the UK in thirty-seven years. It is that frustration that has caused him to release a statement today, accusing the President of feasting whilst Nigerians are fasting. Unfortunately for Mr Obi, in his fit of jealousy, he has forgotten that the President is a Muslim and has been fasting for a month, and will continue fasting until the end of Ramadan. It is no big surprise that Mr Obi appears to be unaware of that fact. After all, remember the things he said about the Ummah in his leaked Yes Daddy audio. Reno Omokri Ambassador Designate to Mexico. @cabeecroft23 @jidesanwoolu You're as empty as a used tin of milk. At your age, you & your lots are concerned & unduly invested in the difference between "owanbe" and "owambe" while other countries are developing. You want the governor to become a tribal bigot like you? with frivolities? Instead of you

I hope you all have seen why we lost Lagos in the 2023 presidential election. Governor @jidesanwoolu has surrounded himself with many individuals who are not party faithful. Commissioner Omotosho, is not only shameless but is an apparent disgrace. I am happy the lady recorded and aired that conversation. He sold out for a morsel of political porridge—a meal he will never be served even if he is willing to pay a premium. Just like that, his unwholesome hunger for porridge has made a celebrity of the lady and he himself has become a mascot for outright foolishness. In the same way that SSA Idris Aregbe guy was drooling over the "Owambe" lady. He apparently was more interested in her anatomy than the egregious cultural error she made.

Sometimes, karma takes time & sometimes it comes very quickly. I remember one APC chieftain who was claiming that there was no hunger crises or poverty on Arise TV. Months later, he appeared on the same show looking scrawny, had lost weight and later ate his words. Same applies to the man who claimed there was no insecurity only to end up getting napped.

@DrJoeAbah Why shouldn't we blame the government? Did the govt seek competence and experience before appointing them? When a govt appoints just to give jobs to the boys, what then do you expect the boys to do? To deliver? You can't give what you don't have.

From a purely institutional and governance perspective, every media aide and senior government official that the press may interview should have training in adversarial media questioning. That training was compulsory when I worked in the UK, and I had it then although I was just a senior government official and not an official spokesperson. I was trained by the interviewers of BBC ‘Hard Talk.’ Here, we just appoint people and expect them to know. As an example, we appoint Ministers of Labour and expect them to have negotiation skills. The lack of training means that Ministers of Labour agree to terms during industrial disputes that the government cannot fulfil, leading to incessant strikes by people like ASIU. You cannot always blame the government for this though. When appointed, YOU are expected to arrange any training YOU need to be effective at your job. I am Ezemmuo. I know things.

On insecurity in Nigeria. Daniel Bwala allows himself to be taken to the cleaners by the garrulous Mehdi Hassan. He should prepare hard before these interviews. Who is Daniel Bwala? "Daniel Bwala (full name often given as Dr. Daniel Hassan Bwala) is a prominent Nigerian lawyer, political figure, public affairs analyst, and current government official. He serves as the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication (also described in some sources as Special Adviser on Media and Policy Communications or Public Communications and Media). In this role, he acts as a key spokesperson and defender of the administration’s policies, frequently appearing in media interviews to discuss national issues, including economic reforms, security, and the “Renewed Hope” agenda." - @grok
