Over 82% of gunshot wounds in Gazan children were recorded by the Gaza Ministry of Health to have come from AK-47s. Israel does not use AK-47s. Hamas does.
Dilly Hussain@DillyHussain88

Almost 60% of gunshot wounds that killed Palestinian children in Gaza were directly to the head and chest. They were targeted. It is not an “antisemitic blood libel” to call Israelis who fight for the IDF baby killers.

The secret recipe for Pesach matzah is SO delicious, your friends will be suspicious. As taught in the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem; with actual quotes from the secret recipe: 1- “Kidnap a small (non-Jewish) child” 2- Put the child in the “barrel of nails” 3- “Body pierced by these nails” 4- “Open faucet and pour out the blood” 5- “knead into bread with the blood of child” Bake in the oven and your friends will be stunned: Matzah so unique it tastes like it has a personality. For those interested, this is the full 10 minute interview with Sophia Salma Khalifa, the Muslim Arab Israeli who exposed the lies of apartheid and so many other lies, and destroys them with elegance, eloquence and grace. It is one of the best and most inspiring interviews I’ve personally ever seen. A must watch for decent human beings. Credit: @prageru

Notice how he frames things to manipulate your perceptions. Hezbollah "Lanched yet another war" even though it was responding to a war started by Israel. But Israel "Entered the Iran conflict" when they clearly started another war. Very telling
John McGuirk@john_mcguirk

UNIFIL has had the objective of disarming Hezbollah in South Lebanon for 50 years. It failed. Hezbollah launched yet another war on Israel when it entered the Iran conflict. Now the Israelis are doing what UNIFIL was supposed to do, and the UNIFIL countries are mad about it.

Like many other countries, Ireland effectively closed its doors to Jewish refugees in their hour of need Even more shocking was the fact that, even eight years after the end of WW2, the Department of Justice was using Nazi "racial criteria" to bar Jews from entering Ireland Unfortunately, any discussion of this sensitive and shameful topic is met with denial, obfuscation, and whataboutism
Ed Abrahamson@abrahamson_ed

A fact I just learnt has shocked me. Oliver Sears @Holocaust_Irl on @InsidePolitics with @hlinehan during an extraordinary hour long discussion shared ⬇️ Between 1938 and 1953 the number of Jewish refugees allowed into Ireland was 80.. Eighty souls. How many could have been saved? and even after the war when they had nowhere to go? Of course in the end, many reached the nascent State of Israel. Ireland talks of its sympathy with the Palestinians because of its own history of oppression. But when it came to the Jews, they were deaf to the screams, blind to the emaciated bodies. A shameful part of our history as Irishmen.

We actually understand antizionism quite well. One of the things that makes it so powerful is that it’s grounded in a conspiracy theory about Jewish evil and power, replicating the tropes, motifs, and explanatory logic of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. The two are not simply similar: as my work shows, Soviet antizionist ideology, which forms the foundation of contemporary antizionism, is structurally grounded in the Protocols. We’re having trouble defeating antizionism for the same reasons we’ve struggled to defeat “classical” antisemitism: antisemitic conspiracy theory is notoriously seductive, contagious, and self-sealing (impervious to contrary evidence). Libeling Israel as a genocidal, apartheid, imperialist, settler-colonial state draws on the same demonizing logic historically used to portray Jews as bloodthirsty, deicidal, and demonic. The same logic is at work in equating Zionists with Nazis. In other words, “Israel Derangement Syndrome,” which we’re seeing everywhere right now, has the same features as the historical obsession with Jews — even when it avoids the word “Jews” and uses “Israel” or “Zionists” instead. Here’s a slide I use in my presentations tracing the parallels. Also see my article: “Demonization Blueprints: Soviet Conspiracist Antizionism in Contemporary Left-Wing Discourse.” (Link in next post, open access.)

@IzaTabaro @yuliafi I suspect what we understand about antizionism is only a fraction of the full truth. Its power is immense.

What a disgrace. Racism pure and simple. Don’t buy your kids’ bike from @LittleBigBikes
Myriam Shermer@MyriamShermer

A few years ago, my husband — a cycling enthusiast — invested almost $300 in a “built to last” balance bike from @LittleBigBikes for our kids, specifically because parts could be replaced over time. Today, as our youngest needs new pedals and brakes, the company refuses to ship to Israel. Not to a government — to customers. Companies are, of course, free to take political positions. But refusing to serve individuals based solely on where they live is not a “peace stance.” It’s collective exclusion and discrimination. People who oppose boycotts should know where this company stand.

The answer is genuinely uncomfortable for Robbie & those sharing his political outlook. The Irish state- like so many other post colonial societies (see USA post-Rev. War) in time comfortably assimilated the minority community. Unionism’s inability to do so tells us everything.
Robbie Butler MLA@RobbieButlerMLA

@Dog_Deterrent79 Nationalism has flourished in Northern Ireland. Unionism and British identity has disappeared in the Republic. That's irrefutable 🤷‍♂️

@piarais91 From around 30 % to almost 50% in the lifetime of NI seems reasonably flourishing, given the armed hostility it nationalism displayed. As opposed to a decline from around 10% to 2% in the protestant population in the Republic in the same time period. Churches now discos. 😸

@colinivan @irishexaminer As a member of the DF who served in Lebanon you know very well that the large houses built throughout that area were associated with Hezbollah and were civilian only insofar as the inhabitants failed to wear uniforms as required by International Law.

They tried again and they failed again. No, I’m not talking about the decades of repeatedly failed genocidal attempts to wipe out the Palestinians, but rather the ludicrous and pathetic attempts by FSV Mainz 05 to yet again appeal against their loss of my case in the German courts only to lose again. Today, the German courts dismissed the latest appeal from FSV Mainz 05 which affirms the earlier judgment ensuring justice was served with my resounding victory. Time for the deluded decision makers at FSV Mainz 05 to give it a rest and pay up the remainder of my contract. Worthy causes supporting the children of Gaza await. That should give some solace to the executive team at FSV Mainz 05. Free Palestine

I can't imagine having this mentality. @LittleBigBikes think they are helping Palestinians by punishing an Israeli child by refusing to replace pedals and brakes which they agreed to replace when the bike was bought. "Lifetime warranty" my ar*e. Ireland has a sickness.

A surgeon at my gym took early retirement to go to Palestine & operate on 150+ kids. He’s a maxillofacial specialist & said he’s never seen cruelty like it; the IDF’s ‘game’ is to try & shoot children in the head without killing them. Why won’t you denounce them @Keir_Starmer?
