@kransekage_ I basically have no symptoms. Everyone at work has it so I was testing and got a positive test this morning. Figured I would take the Paxlovid just as a precaution.

Mike was a huge fan and really excited to meet Billy and asked if he could please rub his head. Billy said fine, but Mike forgot he was holding a sandwich. So bread met head and it was all over.

Played the first couple hours of Allen Wake 2 last night and so far it is superb. It looks great, sounds incredible, has maybe the best facial animation I've ever seen in a video game and nails both jump scares and eerie atmosphere with aplomb. I'm hooked!

@berge314 Oliver’s kindergarten promotes the “Pike Lake Promise” which is: respect, responsibility, self-control, and perseverance. Many of our leaders could use a kindergarten refresh I think.

Ok, I had a moment last night playing Lords of the Fallen where I kind of forgot I wasn't just playing some new Dark Souls game. Got to give the developers credit for making major improvements over the first game, especially in the feel of the game and the level design.

Ok, kind of coming around on Lords of the Fallen a bit. After beating the first boss I’ve settled into the combat more. It feels better than I initially gave it credit for. Still not loving the “other world” stuff, but the game has cool looking enemies and monsters.

Early impression of Lords of the Fallen is not great. It lacks a feeling of weightiness and the two worlds gimmick is really not for me. It ends up just being an incentive to rush through areas, which hamstrings the joy of methodical/tense exploration vital to great soulslikes

Last night @punishedtake and I finished up watching the entirety of the Deadwood TV show, probably my favorite show of all time. Such a delightful undertaking. If I made a list of my favorite characters it would 25 people long. Just the best.
