Wow. This really threatens the entire “AI is conscious” narrative. 84 percentage points separate what AI coding tools score on benchmarks and what they score when the memorized patterns disappear. That gap is not a performance variance. It's the distance between reasoning and autocomplete. EsoLang-Bench used structurally identical problems to the tests that gave frontier models their 85-95% scores — same logic, same task architecture, different syntax. Syntax the models couldn't have absorbed at volume during training. The task didn't get harder. The crib sheet got removed. Scores collapsed to single digits, accepted at ICLR 2026's Logical Reasoning workshop, meaning the peer community validated the methodology. The enterprise AI market runs on coding benchmarks the way drug trials run on clinical data. Pull the data, and you pull the case for the product. Every capability claim, every pricing tier, every "AI-native" pitch deck in circulation is built on numbers generated by models that had already seen the test. The models didn't learn to code. They learned to recognize code they'd read before. The benchmark was the training data the whole time.

🚨 Shocking: Frontier LLMs score 85-95% on standard coding benchmarks. We gave them equivalent problems in languages they couldn't have memorized. They collapsed to 0-11%. Presenting EsoLang-Bench. Accepted to the Logical Reasoning and ICBINB workshops at ICLR 2026 🧵

We’re launching a brand new, full-stack vibe coding experience in @GoogleAIStudio, made possible by integrations with the @Antigravity coding agent and @Firebase backends. This unlocks: — Full-stack multiplayer experiences: Create complex, multiplayer apps with fully-featured UIs and backends directly within AI Studio — Connection to real-world services: Build applications that connect to live data sources, databases, or payment processors and the Antigravity agent will securely store your API credentials for you — A smarter agent that works even when you don't: By maintaining a deeper understanding of your project structure and chat history, the agent can execute multi-step code edits from simpler prompts. It also remembers where you left off and completes your tasks while you’re away, so you can seamlessly resume your builds from anywhere — Configuration of database connections and authentication flows: Add Firebase integration to provision Cloud Firestore for databases and Firebase authentication for secure sign-in This demo displays what can be built in the new vibe coding experience in AI Studio. Geoseeker is a full-stack application that manages real-time multiplayer states, compass-based logic, and an external API integration with @GoogleMaps 🕹️

Fascinating. Someone used AI to show us an alternate future. One where AI doesn’t destroy us but outgrows us. Credit u/-Baloo

$WMT is disappointed in results from OpenAI partnership, whereby Walmart users are allowed to shop via ChatGPT and OpenAI would receive a commission on these purchases “Conversion rates—the percentage of users following through with a purchase of an item shown to them by ChatGPT—have been three times lower for the selection sold directly inside the chatbot than those that require clicking out, according to Daniel Danker, who oversees design and product for Walmart. Put simply, Instant Checkout has been a flop.” -- Wired OpenAI on a heater recently in the news….

This is incredible. You can now create full 3D worlds with just a few images and a prompt using OpenArt's new AI. No blender, not unity, just images and a prompt. Here's how to do it right now:
