PRESS RELEASE Condemnation of the Killing of Abubakar Habane in Tanjol, Riyom LGA, Plateau State The Fulani community in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State wishes to express its deep sorrow, grief, and strong condemnation over the brutal killing of one of its members, Abubakar Habane, a resident of Ngelgagare. The unfortunate incident occurred in the early hours of today, 6th April 2026, at about 7:00 a.m. in the general area near the riverside in Tanjol, Jol Ward of Riyom LGA. According to credible information available to the community, the deceased, Abubakar Habane, had gone out alongside his brother, Saidu Shehu, to tend to his calf around the riverside. Unknown to them, more than 30 armed youths had allegedly laid an ambush in the area. In the process, the attackers are suspected to be Berom youths from Tanjol. During the attack, Abubakar Habane was killed, while his brother narrowly escaped. This senseless and unprovoked act of violence against an innocent civilian is highly condemnable and unacceptable. It reflects the continued vulnerability of Fulani communities and raises serious concerns about their safety and protection. The Fulani community in Riyom LGA hereby calls on: Security agencies to immediately launch a thorough investigation into this incident and ensure that all those responsible are identified and brought to justice. The Plateau State Government to take urgent and decisive steps to protect all citizens, regardless of ethnic or religious background. Community leaders and stakeholders to work towards de-escalation of tensions and promote peaceful coexistence among all communities. We strongly urge our members and the general public to remain calm and law-abiding, despite this painful provocation, while we continue to seek justice through lawful means. The continuous loss of innocent lives must come to an end. Peace, justice, and fairness remain the only path to lasting stability in Riyom LGA and Plateau State at large. Signed: Fulani Community, Riyom LGA Plateau State 6th April 2026

Sabinus thought he was smart. He thought that his wife truly loved him, so he built a 4 Bedroom bungalow for his wife's parents in Isiokpo, granted her desire of living in London after she complained that the mansion he built in Port Harcourt is polluting Port-Harcourt atmosphere. He saw her through her education to her masters level in the United Kingdom after she graduated from Uniport. According to him, he spent over £50,000 pounds monthly to keep her and their kid comfortable in London. Before Okoko could realise, his wife, Ciana Chapman, filed for divorce and took Sabinus to court in the UK over allegations of infidelity, neglect of their child, and domestic abvse. When I said that men are in love while weemen are in business, some men will come out to argue, saying that his woman is different. When I tell men that weemen are loyal to their feelings and they don't care about your sacrifice, SIMple men doubt me. When I tell men that during divorce, weemen don't ask for more love from their men or how to settle their differences, instead they ask for their man's assets and money, SIMple men think am just creating content. When I tell men never to invest in a woman, send or take their Nigerian wife or girlfriend abroad, they say I talk from a place of pain. But every day weemen keeps proving my teachings right. Is God not wonderful?. The only time a man learn lesson is when he sees his grave with his own eyes. A man was meant to breath the harsh dust of Sahara desert. I have no pity for Sabinus because the red flags were there but he was busy looking at her nyash, beauty and pvccy.

If one group did this, maybe coincidence. But 150+ terror organizations? All claiming the same Quran, same Hadith, same Jihad. And we Muslims keep living in comfortable denial. The list doesn’t lie. When will we stop lying to ourselves? 😞

@beet_kon Maybe it's in the books. While the Quran is an extract of the Bible and it's majority users regards both as revelations from same God. There are scriptures that has a combination of Bible and Quran especially in Egypt. But the majority of Bible users, don't see the Quran as Canon

I’ve written *hundreds of posts challenging Christian theology. One of them actually brought me closer to @GaryHuerta12. And here’s the truth: Not a single Christian has ever threatened me with death or attacked me for it. But Muslims? They’ve threatened me *multiple times just for speaking against the atrocities committed in the name of Islam. Think about that. When Muslims threaten other Muslims simply for saying “No bloodshed in the name of religion”… How exactly are we supposed to convince non-Muslims that Islam is a “religion of peace”? We are the problem. Full stop.

@PeterObi This why @Waspapping_ made it life time achievement goal to stop you from being president because he fears you will stop killers from killing Nigerians for any reason. @Waspapping_ is so sympathetic to these killers that anyone with a heart to stop them won't be welcomed.

“This Experience Will Not Repeat Itself” - Another Presidential Promise fails in less than 24 Hours. Less than 24 hours after President Tinubu stood at the Jos Plateau State airport on April 2, 2026, and promised the grieving Nigerian citizens, “I promise you that this experience will not repeat itself,” another brutal attack occurred in Nyamgo Gyel, Jos South LGA, resulting in the deaths of several innocent citizens. Since then, and only a week following that reassuring promise from the President, Nasarawa State has been plunged into grief as the Akyawa and Udege Kasa communities fled for their lives after gunmen killed at least 11 people. Many homes were reduced to ashes, and numerous families remain missing. In Zamfara State, 150 innocent Nigerians were abducted from the Kurfa Danya and Kurfan Magaji communities in one of the largest mass kidnappings in recent times. On the same day of the Zamfara kidnappings, terrorists in Borno State stormed Chibok, killing four officers and burning down homes. Yesterday, on Easter Sunday, Benue State was rocked by violence again, with over 17 Nigerians massacred, entire communities left in ruins, and many individuals still unaccounted for. Today, in Kaduna State, several innocent citizens were killed by terrorists inside churches, with many others abducted in the Ariko community of Kachia LGA. Yet we were told, “This experience will not repeat itself.” This represents a failure of leadership and responsibility, and sadly, Nigerians are paying for it with their lives. These attackers are not ghostly figures; our inaction emboldens them. How can a President make such a categorical promise and, mere hours later, the nation continues to count the dead across multiple states? The primary responsibility of any government is to protect lives and property; however, this responsibility is failing today. Nigerians are being slaughtered in their homes, in their communities, and in the very places they should feel safest. Even the President did not enter these communities, so who is truly safe in Nigeria? This is a national emergency. Nigeria is bleeding, and the situation is worsening and increasingly helpless. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Dear Southerners. Tinubu will try making this election a North Vs South, do not fall for his deception, his bad governance affected every part of Nigeria, he will only use your sentiments to extend your suffering. Let join hands to send Tinubu away.

The end of terrorism in Plateau has begun. The Nigerian Army has now taken a hard stance, going deep into forests and harsh terrains to capture the criminals. Kudos to our brave troops restoring peace.

Yesterday, I saw some Northern hunters heading out with their local dogs. I asked if I could join them someday to document their experience, and one of them asked if I was truly up for the task— since they spend up to a week in the forest without network. I told him yes. We exchanged numbers, and I’m really looking forward to the experience. If you’re a photojournalist or filmmaker in Abuja and would love to explore this adventure, hit me up so we can uncover what happens in the wilderness for weeks.
