As bad as NYC’s District Attorney’s are, they are no where near as radical as NY Judges are. Many judges like Police managers are also Politically appointed. Elections matter. The two rulings below are from the same judge, 2 very different sentences.

In 2018, Mitchell told a teenage gang member accused of beating a homeless man to death that he would receive no prison time and a clean adult record if he stayed out of trouble, citing the suspect’s “troubled childhood.” Yesterday, Mitchell sentenced an NYPD officer to 3–9 years in prison for doing his job and safeguarding his team and the public, stating that during the sting operation he should have let the drug dealer go and that “he could’ve been captured another day.” If activist judges aren’t removed, nobody is safe.

British Government Tells A Man He's On An ISIS Kill List & He’ll Be Prosecuted IF He Arms Himself
A man in the UK finds out he's named in an ISIS publication.
He calls the police. Their exact response:
"We can't protect you 24 hours a day. And if you get a weapon to defend yourself — you will be prosecuted."
Let that sink in.
The government admits it can't protect him.
Then threatens to prosecute him for protecting himself.
Against people who publicly announced they want him dead.
And people in America still point to the UK as the model for gun control.
We literally picked up guns and fought the British government to earn the right we're talking about right now.
The Second Amendment didn't come from a petition.
It came from a war.

At what point does a government that admits it can't protect you and won't let you protect yourself stop being a government and start being a threat?
