@UnrealBluegrass @crockpics Try 60s Mac with open ears, you might enjoy that
English

Trying to crush every voice that has a differing point of view (the definition of authoritarianist fascism by the way - actual bigotry)
Promoting incompatible culture over those of ordinary people in this country. Covering up and being complicit in the mass systemic abuse of young females
Continuing the madness of energy insecurity
Just three, that’s WHY people don’t like him
English

@tesla_jokes They would recognise that term anywhere in England
London isn’t England anymore
English

@DeborahMeaden Two+ years of your bullshit for nothing
Back to hawking shit to pensioners
English

If @Keir_Starmer resigns on Monday, I resign my long term membership.
End of.
@UKLabour
English

@MaryLefteris Haha don’t be upset the paedo apologist is out of here Mary
English

@Eddystone506 I’m surprised you didn’t blame it on climate change, mong
English

@AlexTaylorNews I don’t believe it and there’s no fucking way some euro trash is calling me an idiot
English

@TheRealSambora Sounds reasonable to me, surely he’s got over that?
Any chance of some live shredding videos I need to rock? Some of these people you’re replying to are kind of dicks
English

No . Did you? You know grown ups can disagree. I made a mistake once. And immediately apologized profusely. My mom was dying and I had broken my hand badly. We were in a private argument, and there’s was one insult over the line.. u ever make a mistake miss Jayne?
Jayne B 🇬🇧🏴☠️🐰🦇@everturningtide
@TheRealSambora So you haven’t reposted a comment saying “fuck Jon” today? You didn’t repost a comment calling their recent album slop & another calling Jon a liar & it wasn’t you that referred to him as plastic throat? So who else is using your twitter account? 🤣
English

@rorysutherland Spangled boob-tubes especially mandatory for retired PE teachers called ‘Bob’
English

Campaigning tip for Andy Burnham. Dial down the socialism and double-down on Northerness.
All vacant shops to be converted to a Greggs.
Friendly conversation with strangers mandatory on public transport.
Spangled boob-tubes compulsory after dark, regardless of prevailing meteorological conditions.
The manifesto writes itself.

@NoContextBrits That game is called “faceplant ginger” where the two lads hiding trip up the other one as he runs past
English

@historyrock_ I’d be civil and talk to him anybody else. I certainly wouldn’t get my phone camera out
Question is why would he want to talk to me?
English

That’s not fair - you really shouldn’t say it was done to cause problems like throwing a hand grenade in
Could have been handled better but none of us know what pressure Richie was under to start that tour
Jon is a notoriously demanding boss and as people mature and have kids, no the band can no longer come first
English

@TheRealSambora Why won’t you admit the truth, what you did to cause the problem. Be honest. Tell the truth
English

Hey guys i wanna thank you for yout support. The stuff people that are negatively commenting on are not coming from me. The impact , hard work And songs that moved the planet, i coulnt have more gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of. Why would i spend 32 years in this band and that beat the odds, and got pretty big and blaspheme the situation. Im proud of it. And thankful for the opportunity to entertain u , and the songs made ya happy. Thank u again.
English

Polar opposite on that day but happiness is fleeting, it’s snow in your palm
I do sense a lot of disappointment in the direction the band took and I don’t like the direction they’ve taken one bit even before your departure
Jon has done little for BJs legacy in my eyes but the fans are still turning out. I’ve been to enough shows 80s - 2000s to remember how great you guys were
For what it’s worth I’d love to see somebody mediate you guys and thrash out your differences. I reckon there’s been a lot of hurt but it can be done
English

Well that’s strange I saw this post
Is it possible that your postings lately I have not been engaging with because your direction of travel is different to mine and the X algorithm is serving up more of the types of post I engage with
If I’m honest with you I got bored of you months ago now
Hope that helps

Let me explain the system on twitter X .
Why some people are amplified more than others ..
FB
I post, followers see this in their news feeds
They have a choice
Scroll by, react , comment or share. That's good FB is sound👌
TwitterX
Used to be the same as FB
Effort rewarded by reach.
Now instead of my 245,000 followers on X seeing my posts, X decides it will only show it to say 500 random people NOT followers who aren't even Interested then the thread fills will trolls not genuine comments.
Reach is way down on X
X also has preferred users they get amplified and sometimes retweeted by The platform owner Elon Musk
Growth is then enormous but mainly in the US.
Example I post the same video on FB..it gets say 50-100,000 views
On X 6,000
X simply isn't worth the time and effort .
@elonmusk

That's the very point and you are just as ignorant. Electrical energy does not travel through electrons bumping each other. There is no comparison to the way water travels - that's a common myth.
We should be talking about electromagnetic waves, not physical media. Nothing snide about reality and you'd think somebody in such a position would have some idea.
English

@messele @g__j @RupertDarwall Okay, fine, a newtons-cradle-esque situation occurs.
"Wires and electrons" is a good shorthand when comparing it to the cost of running the gas network (with pumping stations), or pumping / tankering petroleum products around.
Your snide, unhelpful comment added nothing.
English

What Greg doesn't tell you is that it costs at least twenty times more to transport energy as electrons ("electrify everything") than as molecules (fossil fuels) ...
Greg Jackson@g__j
This is what fossil fuels (and their mates) really are scared of. Even if you use them to generate electricity for EVs or heat pumps or cooking, you use a lot less if the end use is electric. And honestly, electric products are usually simply better as well as more efficient.
