Not going to let come on here and make it seem like Pip was a great defensive player coming into the nba as a rookie.. if thats the case, then dont ignore Larry Hughes who was actually widely known as a great defensive player in 2005 and didn’t all of sudden stop playing defense afterwards

No that would be incorrect…they won the first two game without any production from sellers and pippen the first two games. Sellers played better in game 3 but went back to being brad in game 4. They won games without pippen being effective. He contributed but I dont think it would have mattered considering they were at home for the deciding game

He had minimal contributions to that point. Winning titles Jordan definitely needed a costar of pippens magnitude but not no dumb 1 and 9 first round narrative: Showing what accurately happened isn’t t discrediting or propping up anyone.
