@Melkor_0208 Wouldn’t call the voters switching progressive though. Probably still rather conservative S-voters on the countryside/anti establishment V-voters in northern Sweden.
Then of course some people that switch can’t be put on a spectrum or change ideology between elections 🤷

Plenty of progressive voters did actually go over to SD and M in 2022. Fully possible for SD to have a repeat of that in 2026 if they run a good campaign.
If L passes by getting enough progressives + M votes and SD grows yet again by gaining in S and V voters the right can win.

@Nassreddin2002 Let’s be real, the right didn’t win in 2022 because they gained progressive voters. They won because people on the countryside switched from C to SD. L survived on tactical voters from M. The right won’t win again by getting progressive voters back.

Overall approval numbers for Swedish Liberal leader Mohamsson have risen after accepting far-right SD ministers in a new right-wing govt,
But it declined among voters of the progressive opposition parties
Aka it's now harder for the right to make up their 7-9p polling deficit

VVD &CDA (incl. current migration minister) adopted it
Yet D66's senators voted against it
Also PVV (despite being in the previous govt) voted against the bill bcs it is no longer as "strict" as initially intended
