i think (hope) it’s obvious i write AND edit my fics with my own human hands, but since update speed/word count is a new em-dash equivalent AI indicator apparently, i will just add that 10k+ words a week is reasonable when you’re powered by audhd like i am lmao & leave it at that

@marlbdesperado @ilyasroza i think bc ilya was just talking about how unsafe russia is and his family would be of no help bc they’re police, and shane felt the need to clarify if the sick (following right after how he’s old fashioned) was like “and he’s a sick sick man” type of sick or literally sick.

@ilyasroza I think it’s mostly that starting with “sick like crazy” is a wild first guess. If he started with “sick like cancer” or “heart problems” or something I don’t think anyone would have batted an eye but jumping straight to crazy is a hilarious response to learning someone is sick.

making svetlana ilya's childhood friend was a genius decision. his alienation in season 2 is going hit even harder if jacob maintains that he's told no one about shane: the consequent rift between him and svetlana may as well be a focal point of his mental health crisis

@lettiehatters @protectheflames ofc they might not go this route at all. maybe he’s just keeping her at arm’s length because it’s hard approaching loved ones when you’re depressed, they could take any route with this. but that’s one thing to consider is what i mean. there are more unspoken factors.

@uhbucky sorry for the long para. also if you are looking for technique, take short form tutorials with a pinch of salt (bc they can be end goal focused not process/study focused, hence all the “you’re doing this wrong” etc). study from resources recommended by pros/art students.
