@sezsskywalkers it def looks and feels like a real jersey when you have it on! but yeah i’d say it’s comparable to the cheapest official jersey i own ($100 range) w the premium pricing coming from it being a collector’s item. basically like paying up for an irl team’s limited edition release imo

@sezsskywalkers honestly quite good! i’d compare it to a fanatics breakaway where it does have a mix of vinyl and embroidered elements so def not machine washable. but the fabric is thick/heavy and the oversized fit is nice. if the shipping wasn’t criminal, i think $150 base price is alright tbh

@chipskylark2381 binnington (the reverse retro colorway owns my heart) and logan thompson! i only wear goalies lol, with the exception of my [not pictured] signed oshie blues jersey on the other wall and caps oshie too. his trade worked great with my east coast move a few years earlier lol

@pinggwinbear that’s my thought too. and most of the women in our extended fam had white husbands so being a mixed cousin was normal. the only weird experience i really had as a wasian kid was other filos telling me i was so “beautiful” bc of it. which is a whole other thing to unpack obvi

@minrozanov I wonder if it's because Filos adapt to other cultures (the North American one esp.) easily that identifying as half or not doesn't really matter. But some of the other Asian cultures are really kind of insular in that if you're mixed it's easier to not quite fit?

maybe it’s bc i grew up in missouri before moving to the coast and/or bc being mixed filo is common but i was unfamiliar w this weird culture(?) around being wasian lmao? the discourse baffles me as someone who has an asian friend group where we just refer to everyone as asian 🧍🏻
