@paraschopra I had to write a brainfuck compiler in college. It was indeed a brain fuck.

We found a task where LLMs struggle massively! Give them a coding problem in Python and they'd work great. Give the same problem in brainfuck and zero-shot their performance is ~0% +[--------->+<]>+.++[--->++<]>+.
Lossfunk@lossfunk

🚨 Shocking: Frontier LLMs score 85-95% on standard coding benchmarks. We gave them equivalent problems in languages they couldn't have memorized. They collapsed to 0-11%. Presenting EsoLang-Bench. Accepted to the Logical Reasoning and ICBINB workshops at ICLR 2026 🧵

@JCChristopher @mikepat711 Context of the crash aside, this is a crazy way to leave an interstate off ramp. I could EASILY see human drivers making mistakes here, especially at night.

I went to the exact same location of the Cybertruck accident shown in the Fox News video. This is the US-69/59 Eastex Freeway northbound HOV lane at the Y-split near the Eastex Park & Ride exit (approaching from downtown Houston toward Humble). In the Fox News video, the vehicle failed to follow the right curve, going straight into the barrier. Well, I tested it twice today with Tesla FSD engaged the entire time with zero human intervention. And unless you think I am a hologram speaking to you from another dimension now, it worked out really well. Here is the video of me taking the exact same curve twice, with Tesla FSD v14.2.2.5.

I actually see a new niche for the air. People or developers or whatever that have their local LLM at home on a desktop class machine and use that for real work, but want the portability of being able to work on the go. The MacBook Pro is too powerful when you have the remote machine, and the neo probably couldn’t run Xcode very well if I needed to in a pinch, so the air fits into that new gap being created

@juanchx0 Will it really matter that much to the casual user? I feel the Air user is just as casual as the Neo user

How I have my Mac Mini set up for @Openclaw (and why I’m using it over a VPS now): Setup: • Dummy HDMI plug ($4.39 on Amazon): tricks macOS into rendering a real display without a physical monitor (I mostly work on my laptop without external monitors) • LaunchDaemon: runs at boot, no login needed • Sleep disabled: never goes down • Auto-restart enabled: recovers from power outages on its own Why Mac over VPS: • macOS ecosystem access: native apps, Shortcuts, anything Mac-only • Persistent logins, extensions, GUI automation Also: • Screen sharing still works: I can remote in whenever I need to I didn’t buy the Mac Mini solely to run OpenClaw (I was previously using a VPS), but I figured I’d make the switch for the reasons above.

@maddiedreese @0xonimasa @erd0xbc @openclaw I’m confused by this. I have a headless Mac mini that has nothing plugged into HDMI (or ever has been) and I screen share with it fine to do remote work from my iPad or laptop. Never heard of needing such an HDMI plug

@0xonimasa @erd0xbc @openclaw By searching around for options! I was prepared to give up and just have it connected to a monitor, but I wanted to see if there was another way. And there was!

@wholemars I’m just glad Apple is finally catching up with every major other IDE a year later. I’ve just been using codex/cli instead of Xcode but may go back to the UI. Although the codex model embedded is only 5.2 😩

@neilcybart Leading up to the last winter storm in Atlanta all of the major forecasts including the NWS were calling for 1-3” of snow for our area, and only Apple Weather showed no accumulation and only Apple Weather was right. We got dry-slotted to hell. Maybe it got lucky.

This is pure gaslighting. Apple’s default Weather app is scary accurate when it comes to U.S. hyperlocal weather. This is the technology Apple got its hands on with Dark Sky. The technology also powers any weather app that relies on WeatherKit. As for other weather items like 10-day forecasts and precipitation forecasts, I find Apple's Weather app to be accurate as well (again, speaking of the U.S.). Very often, Apple’s Weather app will lead with the other weather apps eventually landing where Apple had been all along. Certain storms will inevitably bust or end up being different than forecasted. That’s weather. Apple’s Weather app is an all-around great app. I have no reservation in recommending it for those in the U.S.
Marques Brownlee@MKBHD

Here, I've made a handy venn diagram to understand phone weather apps 😅 If you're using Google or Apple default weather - it'll be gorgeous, but unfortunately it's not even close to accurate The big ones, like Weather Channel and Accuweather have such ugly apps... but at least the data is actually good Carrot weather on iOS might be the only actually good one right now? RIP to Dark Sky, the original king

UPDATE: After 17 days, our 2022 Tesla Model Y is officially back. A few things off the rip: 1: It was smoked in and they used a monster can as an ash tray. 2: The “guest” was drinking alcohol in the vehicle. 3: No easily identifiable damage. We would have made around $500-700 in those 17 days that the Tesla remained in South Carolina. Turo compensated us for the Late Return but I have yet to see the additional 24hr compensation that was promised by the Turo investigator that handled the case. Let’s see if the smoking violation is approved. Enjoy the post trip photos.

@MyTeslaMoonship I think it automatically does it depending on terrain. If you want to manually put it on, just hold down the park symbol for 5s on the gear selection UI

I was curious how to activate the parking brake for my '26 MYP without a gear stalk. Then I noticed, when the car goes into park, the parking brake is automatically activated. Very cool! 😊👍

On this day in 2020, much of north GA awoke on a Saturday morning to snow on the ground! A quick system delivered 1-3" of snow in the northern ATL suburbs, and up to 8" in the mountains! Temperatures rapidly warmed after, so much of the snow melted the same day. #wxhistory #gawx

@DirtyTesLa I’m glad I’m not the only one with the tire marks avoidance issue. I’ve had most versions of 14.2.2.2.2.2.2 more often than not go around them on the interstate, and sometimes very aggressively

I guess I should share my main complaints Speed control is still number one. The car often goes too slow or too fast and there's no way to really fix it. Even mad Max sometimes we'll go below the speed limit. The car can avoid potholes but rarely does. It's very good at avoiding tire tracks on the road though. Lots of parking lot stuff but I don't care too much about that since the release notes specifically mentioned improvements to that coming in the future

What is FSD still doing that is annoying you? Or is every drive perfect while you relax in the driver seat "supervising"?

@Tesla_AI @aelluswamy FSD 14.2.2.2.2.4 has gotten so good this is what we’re nitpicking, but in GA it’s illegal to turn left into the outside lane if there is more than one, and FSD does not adhere to this. I know it’s allowed in both TX and CA, but not here!

What would you like them to say? “Fine tuned model weight N to drive smoother through right turns”? Nothing fundamental is changing from what we can tell, which is why it doesn’t warrant anything new. It seems like it’s all tuning. I wouldn’t write a release note for my app that says “updated indices on database so it queries faster”

@pbush25 You're right - it was a presumption. Either way, it doesn't change what I originally said. In fact, some of FSD has regressed for me. I'm not complaining about lack of progress - I don't mind I find v14 to be "good enough" for what I need. But why not update release notes?
