❝For my opinion, time don reach make we start to dey consider an Igbo Presidency. Time don dey reach...❞ - BrymO

Peter Obi: In four years, we will generate, transmit, and distribute at least 10,000 megawatts of electricity. Rufai: How are you going to do it? Peter Obi: I’m not going to tell you how I’m going to do it, it is not for you to know how. It’s for you to look at a man who is saying this.

Why does Peter Obi always seem to skip the most important national questions? Every time he’s asked a direct question, he diverts into lengthy narratives and ends up blaming the government instead of providing clear answers. 😆🤣 Even Rufai Oseni, who is often seen as sympathetic to Obi, appeared confused by some of his responses. Nigerians deserve straightforward answers, not endless deflections “beating around the bush”

Rufai: People say you're always chickening out of problems, and that's why you left ADC and couldn't face Atiku. Same thing with the LP. What's your reaction? Peter Obi: They're correct. When people put fire in your house, you don't stay.

Q: Will you negotiate with bandits? Peter Obi: In uniting the country, anybody who wants peace I will talk with him, I will negotiate with him. Anybody who wants war, we will go to war.

Rufai Oseni: “Arabambi said you took a lot of money from Labour Party donations during the last election, and he claims to have evidence.” Mr Peter Obi: “If the so-called Arabambi can provide evidence from any account showing that even 1 percent of what he alleged is missing, I will stop campaigning for the 2027 election. In fact, I may add him to the lawsuit so he can come to court and provide the evidence, just that he don't have address.”

It was great joining Njideka Akunyili Crosby — a gifted Nigerian-born, Los Angeles-based artist — to unveil our first portrait together. This piece reflects so many chapters of Michelle and my story, and we’re thrilled that it will be on display in the Hope and Change lobby at the Obama Presidential Center starting this Juneteenth.
