This situation with @opensea and @MetaMask is so weird to me.
We get that you want to attract as many users to use the app, so you have built a points and chest system for people interact and win some prizes.
This is great, but the problem you all are doing, is how you have presented it, and what is the timing on each event to launch.
What you have created is a simple Loyalty program that has been used in web2 for decades.
This program is used for users who participate by using your product, and then you have a metric to reward them.
While this is legit, you have to understand that this is what you can use after TGE.
The TGE should be your main event where you first reward your OG users that led you to this state, and then introduce ongoing Loyalty program for everyone who will use your product.
So the main difference should be:
Airdrop
- one-time event at TGE
- no announcement
- done by rewarding OG users
Loyalty Program
- ongoing event starting at TGE
- use point system, participation, reviews, creative etc.
- you can use claiming tokens from leveling with points
- great for gamification
If done like this, I'm betting on 100% susess rate and great overall sentiment on your product.
