back from the dead to share what i've been working on comet, a next-gen frontier—an agentic browser that can *do* things thank you for the trust and having faith in me to own design from day one, and for letting me pour my heart and soul into what is the best work of my career

@PixelJanitor What kind of tooling are you using to create/manage them currently?

I’ve been building various agents a lot lately. So much life to automate, even things I enjoy doing (like purchase research), but AI can do it better (Sports nerds check out my fantasy team agent below). If I built an app of pre-built agents you can use and configure for yourself, would you use it? Being able to curate how they organize their work, how they format responses, and even how they communicate is insanely fun. Lately, I've been implementing more RAG capabilities in their work which has significantly reduced hallucinations and increased accuracy and consistency. There are so many awesome existing MCP's out there, but sometimes a custom tool handles what you're looking to happen even better. I've built agents like a personal assistant, research agent, therapist, kids learning coach, travel planner, wellness coach, and even a fantasy draft/team manager for the season to maintain player performance and suggest trades and drops, report injuries, etc. Each have their own tools and connections based on what they need to be able to do. Some with voice API's to be able to literally just talk to. Most recently starting to schedule tasks and automate repetition which feels like a whole new superpower. More ideas to try around scheduled automations soon. The future is very exciting, and increasingly focused on more of what I want to be, rather than what I have to be doing.

@tcosta Seriously impressive to see you all build out your vision steadily over time. The bar exists because of people like you. Congrats on the launch!

1/6 We’re a team of 3. We don’t spend time thinking about competition, though it’s hard to ignore the scale of what we’re up against: teams of hundreds, even thousands of talented people, backed by billions. But from the beginning, our goal wasn’t to outspend or out-staff anyone. It was to build something better. Something more accessible, more useful, and more beautiful than anything else in consumer finance. Against all odds, I believe we’ve definitely done that. And it feels like we just got started. The response to yesterday’s launch has been incredible. The DMs, the feedback, the support... it’s fuel. Thank you for believing in this wild idea and for supporting our team! 2.1 was our biggest release yet. Here’s a look at what we shipped in the past 30 days, and a preview of what’s next:

Hey @v0 — could you please bring the inline prompting back for the preview or possibly just make the text box active when an element is selected 🙏

but @diabrowser can do this, and its fucking major, basically what @tryhighlight does (not as epic), but within the browser, its like having claude/chatgpt at your fingertips.

@jacobmparis @v0 Yeah I get that. What I’m asking that you make that text box active when you select an element. Currently have to manually click into it each time instead of just being able to rip
