Myself as an example, despite growing up very comfortable, but I had very few friends of the same bracket and other neighbors lower, but Omo all of us dey follow play ball for street, we dey roll tire 🛞 🤣, we go still play catcher, hide and seek, still play Xbox , psp, ps2&3 and all But now they have subconsciously cut off social interaction and replaced it with iPad, cocomelon, mrs Rachel and all, so from the onset children brain has been preconditioned to things like that. Bring back social interaction and take out classism and check the result you will see, you live in a society you don’t even know your neighbors exist just you and your family or you and your phone.

This is exactly what I mean by “Forced socialization” an average Nigerian kid don’t see that defect in other kids , in their subconscious mind, they’re are all the same , atleast I can speak for LAPO BABIES, not the NEPO ONES. If you grow in that middle class communities or trenches you can tell . They don’t see that boy less useful because he was amputated, you can easily draw conclusions why a long year nonverbal autistic kid started talking and acting normal when he was relocated to Nigeria within months.
Aina Orosun 🥰🥰🥰@seyfunmi

There is something about Nigeria 🇳🇬 that someone needs to research: its ability to elicit speech in non verbal autistic children. A friend just told me about her 5 year old daughter, who had never uttered a word while they were in Canada. However, after just few months in Nigeria

You placed visa bans on ordinary Nigerian citizens who have nothing to do with the atrocities this government is committing yet you still allow these same politicians &their children you speak of everyday to travel freely & live in the US. When you are serious you know what to do

The Tinubu Administration is spending millions lobbying Congress while failing to adequately address the genocide Nigerian Christians face daily. @HouseAppropsGOP just passed our annual State Department funding bill which takes serious steps to address this crisis. 🧵

My father's best friend was a man called Uncle Bayo who disappeared from our lives without explanation. I was 12 the last time I saw him. He came to our flat in Gbagada, argued with my father in the bedroom for an hour, and walked out without saying goodbye to me. My father never spoke his name again. Neither did my mother. Uncle Bayo became a silence with a shape. Twenty-six years passed. I was in Philadelphia for a conference. A networking dinner at a hotel downtown. Across the room, a man about my father's age caught my eye and held it too long. He approached me during dessert and said my surname like it was a question he already knew the answer to. We sat in the hotel lobby until 2am. He told me the story my father never did. They had started a construction company together in the early 90s. It had failed because of a contract dispute with a senator. The senator had paid only half the money and refused the rest. The debt had crushed them. Uncle Bayo had blamed my father for trusting the senator. My father had blamed Uncle Bayo for not reading the fine print. The friendship had shattered. Two men who had been closer than brothers had become strangers over something neither of them could control. Uncle Bayo had moved to America after the falling out. He had built a new life, a new business, a small contracting firm in West Philly. He had married a Ghanaian woman and had two daughters. He had never returned to Nigeria. He had never called my father. He had assumed the silence was mutual. I asked why he approached me now. He said he recognised my face because I looked like my father at 30. He said he had been waiting for decades to see that face again, to explain something that was never about betrayal. He said the argument had been about shame, not money. Both men had felt they failed each other. Neither had known how to say it. I called my father from the hotel room. It was 3am in Lagos. He answered on the second ring, voice thick with sleep and alarm. I told him who I was sitting with. The line went quiet. Then my father did something I had never heard him do. He cried. Not softly. The kind of crying that comes from a place words cannot reach. Uncle Bayo flew to Lagos 3 months later. They met at the same flat in Gbagada. They sat in the same living room where the argument had happened. They didn't re-litigate the past. They just sat together, two old men with white hair and matching hypertension medication, and let the silence heal. My father died last year. Uncle Bayo spoke at the funeral. He said the greatest thief in life is not money or failure. It is the belief that there is always more time. Call them. The debt is not theirs. It is yours.

I hate to break it to you guys, but Obi is not going to become president in 2027. Oh, I would give anything for him to get there, but the sooner we get rid of that delusion, the sooner we can get to where we are headed. Obi ran with Atiku in 2019 and got rigged out. He went to court and lost. Obi ran again in 2023. He raised the biggest movement we have seen in a long time, had the support of the people, and guess what? He was rigged out again. How do we keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result? The “Independent” Electoral Commission, INEC, is appointed by Tinubu, so apparently, they are not that independent. The courts too are in his pocket. Do you guys think they will suddenly grow a conscience and just allow him to win? They will rig the election, not even bothering to make it less obvious, and then tell Obi to go to court, because they run that system too. People will probably riot, they will most likely shoot at people, lives will be lost, and absolutely nothing will happen. When we are ready for Nigeria to change, when we finally reach our endurance limit, we will rise. And when that time comes, we will not run or hide when they shoot. Do not get me wrong, I am not advocating for anyone to go out today and lose their lives. Hell, we are not ready yet, and we do not quite have that in us. But the sooner we let go of our delusions, the sooner we get to the point where we are ready to confront reality, and fully recognize that change always comes at a cost.

Peter Obi becomes President in 2027. What is the first move you predict he will make? What sector is he going to target first?

When you are serious....you will start visa bans, revoking resident permits, seizure of properties and putting a lien on bank accounts of politicians and government officials implicated in the insecurity in Nigeria. Until then we know you are just playing to the gallery. 🤷‍♂️

He’s so dumb, it’s so funny. Every artist out there have MULTIPLE songwriting partners, Billie ONLY writes with Finneas, and he’s crying his eyes out😭 There literally are clips of billie writing alone, and producing by herself, creating her own adlibs amd background vocals. But so,e random guy on Twitter is trying to tell us otherwise
