This is a very confusing question. Jesus was crucified on Friday and resurrected on Sunday, which does not amount to three days. So why do we say 'three days' instead of 'two days'?

We celebrate Easter because it is the biblical feast of Christ’s resurrection (1 Cor. 5:7-8; 15:1-20), rooted in the Nicene Council’s rule from A.D. 325, long before the papacy’s later corruptions. The date calculation is an ancient ecclesiastical custom, not a uniquely “Catholic” doctrine. We retain good traditions from the early Church (see Augsburg Confession and Formula of Concord on rites) while rejecting papal errors that obscure the Gospel. The resurrection belongs to all Christians, not to Rome.

Does anyone know why reformed, calvinists, evangelicals, etc. all celebrate Easter? The date of Easter is set by the Catholic Church. Why would they follow a Church they call pagan, the harlot, the seat of the anti-Christ, and the synagogue of satan? This really perplexes me.
