🧵 ANNOUNCEMENT 🧵 I recently traveled around Europe and spent a great deal of time in Rome and Assisi. While in those two particular cities, I had what can only be described as a life-altering conversion. I have decided to quit sex work. To repent of my innumerable sins. To give up my life of sin, wealth, vice and vain self-obsession. This is a humbling experience and one that I know may be mocked or questioned by many. I am giving up all my income and turning my life over to Christ. I am leaving behind my life of rampant sin, vice, pride, debauchery, vanity and lies to—with God’s grace—live a life of truth, beauty, obedience to God’s divine will, virtue and humility. I have been going through RCIA since the autumn and will be officially joining the Catholic Church during the Easter Vigil in late March. Thank you, Jesus, for not giving up on such a wretched sinner. Thank you Blessed Mary, Mother of God, for your immense love and consolation. God’s forgiveness and mercy is real. If someone as broken and sinful as me can be redeemed and converted, there is no doubt anyone reading this can also be saved by His divine mercy. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. And my soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden. A Happy New Year to you all and a blessed Feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God.

@bonnocke @ATLAreaWx It’s not. Also, there is no reason to start school so early. Just change the schedule. Simple fix. Kids shouldn’t be at school at 7 am anyway.

@johnamonaco Alright, I have to block you now John. I’ve been patient, but the calumny is just a no go for me. God bless and be well.

@BreeSolstad “Please give me your honest take on this quote.” I gave you mine, which is consistent with the Church’s tradition. What *isn’t* consistent with the Church’s tradition is a woman publicly denigrating everything she doesn’t like as “modernism”, posting coal for engagement $$$.

Please give me your honest take on this quote. The context is the Feeding of the 5,000 with the multiplied fish and loaves. Thank you. 🙏 "The multiplication of the loaves and the fish happened while sharing: that is the miracle!”

I have to admit that this kind of candor only makes me like her more & find her more relatable. We all have something we don’t know that is obvious to other people. For me, it was that the little arrow beside the gas-pump icon tells you which side of the car the gas tank is on.

Serious question @RealCandaceO: did you really not know that thunder came from lightning? I will admit that I once thought penguins were much bigger than they are. But did you seriously not know that thunder came from lightning? It’s possible this was a bit. In which case, so be it. Can you confirm?

Unpopular opinion: I love Daylight Saving Time. But permanent Standard Time makes more sense than permanent DST. If we’re only choosing one, let’s choose the one that aligns with nature. What do y’all think?

The miracle is in the multiplication. That said, like the Church Fathers show us, Sacred Scripture is to be interpreted through a variety of senses. In some ways, more impressive than the actual miracle of multiplication is the justification of the soul. See @ClassicalTheis' response to your original post claiming that the Church Fathers were guilty of "modernism": x.com/ClassicalTheis…
Classical Theist ✠@ClassicalTheis

The Pope never rejected the miraculous nature of the feeding of the 5,000 but you know what? It actually is a far greater display of divine power for the grace of God to draw supernatural charity from the obediential potency of the soul than it is to multiply bread or fish

This is more modernist slop. The power of multiplying a handful of fish and loaves in order to feed thousands is far greater than the power of sharing with others. This is not controversial. Stop degrading the almighty Lord’s divine power and trying to make a spiritual guru.

@ChristineNiles1 @ClassicalTheis I am not saying he denied anything, but what I just posted is verbatim and it’s very ambiguous and is part of an ongoing problem of watering things down.

Yes, but he addressed the same miracle just a few days earlier, making clear the multiplication actually happened, and that it can also be understood in a deeper sense. What too many Catholics do is take a single line from his talks or sermons, removing all context, and forming a false narrative about what he believes or promotes. This is especially the case with various media outfits/influencers with an anti-Leo agenda. And it does no service to the Church. x.com/RomanoSace5708…
Fr. Paolo D'Angona@RomanoSace57080

@BreeSolstad It is undoubtedly certain that the Holy Father does not deny the supernaturally effected multiplication of the loaves (Here is the link to a sermon from which this is evident:zenit.org/2025/06/22/cor… ) Furthermore: The *sensus mysticus* of a scriptural passage is often manifold.
