The idea that blood pudding is seen as disgusting by so many is really funny to me, because 95% of meat eaters who think so would love it if they just weren’t told what it was. Texture- and flavor-wise it’s very much in the mainstream of Western food.
Same thing with horse meat.

I am devastated to learn that my beloved Coffee Zone is no more, & replaced by some yuppie BS brunch place called Sage that looks like it'll care more about the marketing than quality food. I don't want $15 avocado toast — I want incredible gyros served to me by a friendly face.

In the Trump immunity case, Judge Pan says Trump lawyer Dean Sauer has conceded that there's no "absolute Immunity" because Sauer's actually arguing prosecution after impeachment and conviction is permissible.  This concession, Judge Pan notes, invalidates one of the main arguments Sauer raised in favor of immunity before the hearing: that the doctrine of separation of powers means the judicial branch can never sit in judgment of the executive branch.

The Colorado Supreme Court just removed Donald Trump from the ballot under the 14th amendment. Even after a lower court judge in Denver who was a longtime Democrat donor ruled against. Because "Democracy" is when a handful of partisan judges prevent people from being able to vote for who they want.
