The Holocaust is not an analogy for anything bad happening in the world today. It is not the equivalent of any recent war or injustice or "whatabout" you want to add. The industrialized murder of six million Jews, including many in my family, stands alone.

I liked Rose Tico's character, left-wing causes attract people who are a bit odd, bumbling, and have the social awkwardness of someone who grew up lonely. The fact that she led a charge against Sith supermen on the hull of a Star Destroyer fucking whips

I’d actually prefer lower taxes at the cost of a lower social safety net but kings of old were constrained in taxation by technology, not by goodwill. To the extent quarantines existed at the time, they were harsh, too.
