What's the difference between no-code tools and vibe coding? No-code tools are great when the platform fits. Vibe coding is for when it doesn't. You describe what you need in plain language → AI generates real code → you get a custom tool for your exact problem. The skill isn't coding. It's knowing your work.

@Ideiasradicais @kamrynheidi What do you mean by White king gets blasted? It'll be exposed for sure. But it has sufficient defenders to avoid mate. Also white has a pawn storm coming up. Black has an advantage but isn't very decisive for a human considering he has a pawn storm to defend himself.

@rolex_devv @kamrynheidi Nb4 Qa4 Nd3+, bishop can't take because it would hang the Queen, so Kb1, Bxb5 Qxb5 Nxf2 If Nb4 Qb3, Bxc5 cxd4 Rfc8+ Kb1 a5 and whites king gets blasted If Nb4 cxb4, then any Rc8 is a pin and even if Bc4, then b5 and again the white king gets blasted

Update: turns out NMs are pretty good at chess. I got a little too ambitious pushing pawns. Black to move and win. I ended on 4/6 with 3W 2D 1L. Still lots of work to do. Excited to analyze all my games. I love chess. GG!

@kamrynheidi 1…Nb4 looks very annoying to deal with. The bishop and queen are both hit, cxb4 is met by Rac8 with a pin, and Qa4 is met by Nd3+ Kb1 Bxb5 Qxb5 Nxf2, forking. What did you play in the game?

@tobilobaCodes00 You can go back. When learning a new technology you can default to js. Less mental workload and ts stress but for production grade apps then ts all day. I used js when building docker containers because the goal was to containerize the app.

@MeyenOla @tobilobaCodes00 @akinkunmi Not every full-stack dev started from the frontend so the "basic" frontend skills you are thinking about requires a certain level understanding of design principles which not everyone has. Making jest of someone's effort is never a form of constructive criticism. Do better.

Knowing how to use AI to build software is a skill that goes far beyond simply prompting. In his talk and blog @addyosmani clearly breaks down the different levels of AI assisted coding. I'm currently in L4 and this blog has greatly opened my mind. shorturl.at/dG4Cw

@Tobielobba @mrchidipascal Just post something as basic as "will AI replace dev" "Wordpress v native development" and watch the algo do its thing. Getting pushed to my TL even from people I don't follow or interact with. Messed up algo and messed up people feeding it.

@mrchidipascal It's just annoying, there should be something in their algorithm that can spot value instead of rage bait and non sense

You keep emphasizing “original content” and “giving value,” and I agree with that. But there’s something that doesn’t add up. A lot of people are putting in real work. They spend hours, sometimes nights, creating thoughtful, valuable content and it goes nowhere. At the same time, posts that don’t make sense or add anything meaningful end up going viral. So it raises a real question, is there something within the algorithm that can actually recognize value? Because right now, it doesn’t feel like it does. If the goal is to encourage quality content, then the system should support it, at least with visibility. Even if creators don’t earn from it, the least they can get is reach. People are already doing the hard part by creating. The platform should meet them halfway.
Nikita Bier@nikitabier

For this creator payout cycle, we’re experimenting with new tools to identify original authors of content and allocating a portion of revenue to them. Over the last few months, we've seen incredible work from original creators on X. Nick Shirley uncovered billions of dollars of fraud in hospice care. Charles Curran parodied global events with studio-quality videos. Will Manidis earned acclaim for his insightful articles on technology and AI. Reposts & commentary will always be a core pillar of X, but our Revenue Sharing program should incentivize original, high-quality content that brings new value to the Timeline. This means rewarding the effort it takes to produce something, not just the poster who helped it travel furthest. This is how we build a richer Timeline and how X continues to be the most valuable platform in the world. The Revenue Sharing program will continue to evolve to encourage creators to post their best content to X.

@mrchidipascal Very common in the Nigerian tech space. Reach a certain height and everyone else not at that point is beneath you in every aspect. You don't have to be a designer to appreciate good designs and sometimes even the best designers need to understand the context to appreciate it.
