@amanpour let me tell you my Iraq embed story. In the summer of 2005, I embedded in Iraq as a journalist to write my third book, “War Crimes.” I was based at Camp Victory outside of Baghdad.
I noticed on the patrols that I went on, there were absolutely zero members of the press. Occasionally, I’d encounter a foreign correspondent but never a fellow American. I asked the Army Public Affairs Officer, who was my military contact. what was up.
He told me that all of the journalists quit going out to see the war because it was considered too dangerous. They preferred to hang out at the Al-Rasheed Hotel, drinking at the bar or sunbathing at the pool. They wrote their stories by watching the Gulf-sponsored Al-Jazeera network.
Don’t you EVER compare you journalistic cowards to our men and women in uniform! Ever!

The first big story of my career was reporting on Chris Matthews repeatedly sexually harassing staff and nothing happened to him until years later when a woman wrote for GQ that he sexually harassed her so maybe the problem is that leftist media ignore victims when they don’t tell the “right” outlets what happened to them

What we've witnessed here is a years-long, catastrophic failure of conservative media to demonstrate to Democratic staffers that they are fair and professional news outlets who can be trusted with sensitive information. Fox News should have been all over Swalwell's sexual misconduct years ago. It wasn't.

Whatever my problems with Republicans, I'm adding this video clip to my "why I don't think that I can never vote for Democrats" file. You don't go abroad and talk like this when your country is at war. It's borderline treason.

This is a man who is used to being able to just spew whatever he wants in The New York Times and never have to answer for it, feigning self-righteousness.

Everyone in Virginia needs to vote no to the communist redistricting referendum to eliminate 4 republican districts and everyone's voice. Thank you @mercedesschlapp for voting NO.
Every republican and conservative needs to vote NO. Any independent and democrat needs to vote NO as well.

I voted NO to the gerrymandering of Virginia maps. The wording of this constitutional amendment is a pure lie. This amendment would not restore fairness but only disenfranchise voters.
