I do find it funny that Iran handled their business while being under sanctions for 47 years, but after finally leveraging the strait of Hormuz in response to a sneak bombing, the whole world is begging them to lift the sanctions after a few weeks 😭

And he’s outspoken. He’s a French Canadian leftist and he never gaf about people knowing about it. He was raised in a culture of debate, public protest, skepticism of authority and engagement that’s rooted in French culture (and Enlightenment, and secularism, ‘cause let’s not forget he’s an atheist), and he’s not the type to bit his tongue. He wasn’t media trained fresh out of acting school to be nice and feign ignorance and not make enemies the way actors might be in America. He’s very much the Quebecois intellectual type looking up to France. He might look like he won’t be confrontational because he’s so nice and shy, but he absolutely will one up you if you’re being unfair, whether you’re an editor or that guy who attacked his coworkers about coming out or Erin on instagram.
