@itsAntWright Reibe is kind ass tbh. Was unplayable against St John’s. Clingan way more athletic

I can usually see why these guys go into the portal Eric Reibe leaving UConn will never make sense to me unless there’s something with his inner circle I’m not aware of “Hey you’re on Clingan’s path” “No thanks”

@KnowB70034 @StevenThomasNYC no "bruh" - there is a difference between leaving and facing the reality of not starting/getting the dollars you want. Seems at this point they have committed financially (and minutes wise) to Jackson at the 2

I really hope Ian Jackson stays at this point. The talent is there with him for sure. He will thrive next year playing his natural position. And you have to love he can get to the rim and hit all of his free throws. #sjubb

As to LIV Golf's viability moving forward, here is the most recent capital injection, dated Feb. 1, the first week of its season. $266.6 million, signed for by Yasir Al-Rumayyan on behalf of the PIF. If it's the final PIF investment, at least it was a big one.

@PitinoParkway outside of a few hot shooting streaks he really didn't add much - I'd stack rank his impact below Darling, Sellers and Jackson in last year's back court

Joson Sanon came to St. John’s w/ lots of hype but had a terrible basketball IQ & was an extremely inconsistent shooter. In 3 of the final 4 games this season (UConn/Kansas/Duke) he scored 5 points on 3/18 shooting & committed 7 fouls. Sanon is more than replaceable. We’re fine. #SJUBB

NEWS: St. John's Joson Sanon will enter the transfer portal, agents CJ Ward and Derek Malloy tell DraftExpress. The 6'5 sophomore averaged 7.9 points in 21 minutes, shooting 34% from 3. Five-star recruit in the high school class of 2024.

@SimbaWalker6x lol you realize the only reason he is leaving St John’s is to NOT be a backup?

@hoops_mike Rick very well knows the landscape. He wouldn't have brought in Ellis if he felt like Darling was "the guy" to run the point

Well, the Dylan Darling saga has come to a head. He never had a chance of being the starter at point. It would be a shame if he leaves. This whole portal situation has ruined the sport we all love. I hope it doesn’t drive Rick Pitino into retirement. 🙏🏀
Mike Hoops 🏀@hoops_mike

Huge decisions looming for both Dylan Darling & Rick Pitino. DD will be a SR next season and will be seeking a starting point guard gig. His NIL 💰 won’t be astronomical but he will want to maximize it for sure. Coach P will hunt 4 a bigger PG. Stay Tuned. 🏀

@DalyDoseOfHoops i don't think this is about "doubting" Pitino - he is playing the landscape as it stands today

Not wrong, Nick. But do you doubt Pitino?

@DalyDoseOfHoops Going from a question at point guard to a 23 year old Italian cup winner point guard perfectly sums up the sport right now haha

@newyorkgrooovee they don't need Blyden - focus needs to be on the front court at this point

Although I’m thrilled with landing Ellis, it came out of left field & I have so many questions. • What’s his commitment mean for our chances w/ Leroy Blyden? • If Blyden ultimately decides to commit too, what’s that mean for Dylan Darling? • Is this our big fish this cycle or more coming? Quinn Ellis will be great in Queens. Every scout I’ve seen on here thinks he’s all conference caliber. Just curious what it means for Blyden & Bells. #SJUBB
