Today we celebrate the quiet strength of Saint Joseph.
He didn’t preach sermons. He didn’t perform miracles. He didn’t write a single word of Scripture. And yet, he changed the world.
Joseph listened. He trusted. He acted. When God asked him to take Mary as his wife, he said yes. When he was warned in a dream, he got up in the middle of the night and went. No spotlight. No applause. Just faithful obedience.
In a culture that chases noise and recognition, Joseph shows us another way: steady love, hidden sacrifice, courageous fatherhood, and the holiness of ordinary work.
Whether you’re leading a family, building something with your hands, or quietly carrying responsibilities that no one else sees, your faithfulness matters.
St. Joseph, protector of families and patron of workers, pray for us. 🌿
We offer a special prayer today for our Canadian Knights and friends who are celebrating the feast of their country's patron saint.

Matthew McConaughey: “When my son was born I realized I had to return to the Church”
His return, according to McConaughey, began with the birth of his first child in 2007; it was then that he said he realized: “I need to go back to church.”
Fatherhood, he stated, forced him to face questions of responsibility, legacy, and dependence on God.
Furthermore, McConaughey emphasized the influence of his wife, Camila Alves, who is a devout Catholic.

Gospel of the Day (Matthew 1,16.18-21.24a)
Jacob was the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary. Of her was born Jesus who is called the Christ.
Now this is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about. When his mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, but before they lived together, she was found with child through the holy Spirit.
Joseph her husband, since he was a righteous man, yet unwilling to expose her to shame, decided to divorce her quietly.
Such was his intention when, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home. For it is through the holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her.
She will bear a son and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
When Joseph awoke, he did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took his wife into his home.

A vast world and even vaster array of MMO-like activities mix with glittering fidelity in Crimson Desert, but what good is it without much character, texture or charm?
