Dear Wes,
As a Consultant Oncologist it is was no inconvenience to me or my patients. We sorted a fair rota & I was delighted to support our highly indebted and underpaid Resident doctor colleagues. We also got paid tons more than the Residents.

As the latest round of unnecessary strikes come to an end, I have written to the BMA Resident Doctors Committee asking to meet the whole committee. It’s time for the BMA to be realistic and reasonable about what the country and the NHS can afford.

@DeborahMeaden @tryingattimes I'm not a climate change sceptic and I know that a few thousand acres here and a few thousand there of even "good" wheat land won't affect the price of bread, but when they are taking the best potato and veg land for this, it starts to impact food inflation.

A PA has been suspended following 7 attempts at a LP on a young pt. The pt was also prescribed diazepam due to her autism which the PA refused to give because she ‘ didn’t need it ‘ . He then falsified her medical records

I will ban resident doctors and consultants from going on strike – as we already do for the Police and Armed Forces. Labour has chosen the unions over patients. The @Conservatives choose patients, because only we are serious about getting Britain working again.

@LabourBerry Doesn’t really matter what the public think. The doctors will leave the NHS for better work conditions elsewhere. This is the doctors trying to make the NHS better and the government decides to try pit us against each other.

Doctors raised our concerns about pay and workforce shortages time and again when you were in government and you did not deal with the issue. Making strikes illegal doesn’t solve the problem, it just silences those trying to do something about it when those in power don’t listen
