On #BBCQT tonight, Reform UK's Head of Policy James Orr responded to NHS privatisation claims with: "Nigel Farage has never said the NHS will not be free at the point of use." That is not a denial of privatisation. "Free at the point of use" can mean an insurance-based system — where you've already paid premiums and can still be denied cover. That's not the NHS. BREAKING: The United Kingdom has secured a new deal with Nigeria that'll enable the deportation of thousands of failed asylum seekers and foreign national offenders from Nigeria Currently, there are 961 Nigerian failed asylum seekers in the UK who have exhausted their rights of appeal and have been ruled to have no claim to refugee status in the UK. There are also 1,110 foreign national offenders from Nigeria whom the Home Office is waiting to deport. Both groups are now more likely to be deported back to Nigeria under this agreement. The agreement, signed by Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood and Nigerian Interior Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, will also be used to return Nigerians who overstayed work or visit visas.
