Not for nothing, the Book of Mormon has more explicitly Marian passages than the New Testament does.

Taught an Institute class: college and grad students, RMs. Maybe 10-20% of them had even heard of Elder John Widtsoe. Lack of interest in history? Not knowing where to start? I don't know what to attribute this to.
