The Book of Mormon teaches us that pride is what prevents the Church from being peacemakers. Take a look at Helaman 3:33-36. These verses are about members of Christ's church. Not the general public. Covenant-keeping members. Pride can still seep in or motivate your words even if you profess to belong to Christ's church. We must hold onto faith and humility. Fast and pray oft. Purify, sanctify, and yield our hearts to God. That is how we become peacemakers!
