@landofthe80s In Tuscaloosa, Woolworth was the only sizable retailer that held on downtown (until 1992), long after others moved to the mall (Woolco was there). In the late 60s, maybe 70, my grandfather was photographed at Woolworth by the local newspaper. He passed away before I was born.

Impeach and punish the corrupt judges who allowed this violent repeat offender to be free to kill Iryna. Federal charges better stick and deliver the death penalty to this monster, who was caught on camera committing racial hate murder. Make it a public execution. End this madness. We cannot share a society with these people. Kill evil.

There's a Japanese food that the rest of the world avoids. This. Jiggly. Pitch black. Almost entirely water. It's called Konjac. Nearly zero calories. The internet's reaction: "Is this rubber?" "It has no taste." "Why would anyone eat this?" Shut up and try it first. It snaps back in your mouth, soaks up the broth, and fills you up completely. Still only 5 calories. While the West was obsessing over protein bars, Japan had this all along. If you're on a diet — this might be worth a shot.

@Iwatekko6969 Pork is the most common meat used in barbecue. However, most of the barbecue that has gone viral has been Texas-style. Texas-style barbecue is beef-based and brisket is its signature dish. The other states are pork-based. Texas BBQ restaurants also serve pork dishes like ribs.

I love how much the Japanese enjoy Southern culture that most Southerners don’t even know about anymore. This is known as a “Farmers’s Coke.” It balances saltiness and sweetness and allows for extra calories and protein without having to use dirty hands while working.
