@swells_ It just felt easier to set up on hardware and I’m a Mac person. I don’t know if it’s actually easier or better or cheaper. But it felt good/what everyone was doing. I haven’t tried a virtual set up (because it’s working) but I’m happy with it, very, very happy with it.

@SteveGaudio Why did you decide to host on a Mac mini instead of hosting OpenClaw virtually?

@swells_ Just m4, I’ve learned this; you just need the modicum basic macmini or you need a super high level computers to run local models (which I don’t think are that viable right now anyways)

Americans want “country or origin” labeling on their beef. Politicians want lobby money. Walk with me. Americans had “country of origin” labeling on our beef until our politicians repealed the Country of Origin Labeling (COOL) Act in 2015. Why was the act repealed? The WTO (World Trade Organization) authorized Mexico and Canada to impose over $1 billion in annual retaliatory tariffs on U.S exports if COOL was not removed.

“The people who win rooms aren’t the ones who know the most. They’re the people who manage perception the best. And perception is heavily influenced by delivery, it’s not just the content.” Great solo episode by @Codie_Sanchez open.spotify.com/episode/3HCI4U…

Buy your meat from local ranchers and farmer’s markets. Know where it comes from. Shake their hands and ask them questions about how it’s raised. Or just buy “US BEEF” from The grocery store which could be coming from anywhere as long as it’s packaged in the US it can say “Product of USA”

Sharpie deserves the publicity. It invested in robots and workforce training that led to average wage increases of 50% with no headcount reduction, while also increasing production speed by 3-4x, boosting quality, and not raising prices. wsj.com/business/sharp…

We were invited to speak to a school of 1,400 students about ranching, food, and nutrition, and what we found there gave us real hope. America is waking up. These young people—many of whom had never met a rancher or understood where their food actually comes from—listened with wide-eyed attention as we talked about soil health, animal welfare, nutrient-dense beef, and the hard work it takes to raise real food on working land. Their questions were sharp, curious, and refreshingly free of the usual slogans. You could feel a shift happening in the room: a generation beginning to question the processed, packaged version of “food” they’ve been sold, and instead hungering for truth, transparency, and connection to the land that sustains us. If that school is any indication, the future of American agriculture and nutrition isn’t just bright—it’s being reclaimed, one thoughtful conversation at a time.

In Austin for meetings this morning and as a new Dad I have to say, it’s an INCREDIBLE feeling to have two hands free and not have a dozen things to do every time I get in and out of the car. people without kids take this for granted!

After the breakup of the USSR, the Lithuanian basketball team couldn’t afford to participate in the 1992 Olympics, so the Grateful Dead funded the team’s expenses and sent a box of tie-dyed outfits in Lithuania’s national colors. They went on to win Bronze at the Olympics.

Jason Mraz has been a working avocado farmer for over two decades. If you live in California, there's a solid chance his avocados have ended up in your Chipotle order. In 2004, Mraz bought an orchard near San Diego, eventually converting it into Mraz Family Farms. They’re a certified organic, fair trade, regenerative operation that has nearly 1,000 avocado trees on the property that date back to the mid-1970s, planted by the man who sold Mraz the land. The farm has since expanded to also grow passionfruit and coffee—notable given that Mraz first broke into music playing San Diego coffee shops in 2000. The farm produces over 30,000 pounds of avocados annually and supplies Chipotle directly. In 2021, Mraz joined Chipotle's Aluminaries Project as a mentor supporting sustainable food systems. He's also testified before the California Assembly in favor of carbon sequestration credits for farmers and climate resiliency legislation. Mraz shared his perspective on the whole thing in a 2024 interview with ‘Green Matters’: "If a farm is done right, it'll outlive its farmer."

The founders who figure out OpenClaw in the next 90 days are going to look like geniuses in 2027. The problem is most agency owners don't have time to figure out the install, the security risks, where to start, or what to actually hand it first. So my team built a 48-page beginner's guide that does it for you. Inside: — The exact prompts to hand it on day one — Plain English setup for Mac and Windows — How to secure it so it doesn't burn your business down — 42 copy-paste workflows across sales, marketing, ops, and finance Your competitors are sleeping on this. Comment OPENCLAW and I'll send it.

"OpenClaw is the new computer." — Jensen Huang This is the early PC era all over again. A few power users see it. Everyone else hasn't even started. "It's the most popular open source project in the history of humanity, and it did so in just a few weeks. It exceeded what Linux did in 30 years." A solo founder with OpenClaw can now build what used to take a 50-person team. The leverage is absurd.

The Afroman Trial. -Cops raid Afromans house for bullshit reasons. -Steal money, break his door, fuck his house up. -No criminality found whatsoever, no charges at all pressed on Afroman. -Afroman spends the next 3 years making songs that make fun of all the officers involved by name, even using footage of the raid from his own CCTV cameras. -Songs had titles like "Randy Walters is a son of a bitch" and "Lick Em Low Lisa" accusing one of the officers of being a lesbian and sleeping with the other officers wives. -During the raid one officer looked like he was about to eat some lemon pound cake sitting on Afromans counter, Afroman made a whole album calling the officer fat. -The cops get mad and file a lawsuit for defamation. -Afroman turns up to court in a whole American flag suit. -Officers performatively mald and cry while listening to the songs really trying to oversell how badly the songs upset them. -One officer was suing because Afroman made a whole song about him saying he was fucking the officers wife. When the officer was asked if Afroman was really fucking his wife, he said "I don't know". Nuking his own case and establishing that there is a non-zero chance that Afroman might actually be fucking his wife. -As his only witness for the trial, Afroman brought a deputies EX FUCKING WIFE. -The jury ruled completely in favour of Afroman. This entire thing has been a great win for free speech and absolutely fucking hilarious.

The concept is interesting but is Polsia creating any actual value here? Are the companies it creates actually generating ANY revenue? Ben will not comment on this. Again, the concept is super compelling but until we see data on revenue generated by the actual companies themselves, I’ll refrain from the kudos.
