The 7,000 believers protesting in Seoul on April 1, 2026, represented both new churches, such as the Unification Church (통일 교회), and traditional ones, such as the Yeongnak Presbyterian Church (영락 교회). Yeongnak Church was founded in 1945 by Kyung-Chik Han. Pastor Han won the 1992 Templeton Prize, which honors people who work to bridge scientific and spiritual understanding. I've never even heard of any government taking over a cemetery! Does this mean that people can't visit their father's, mother's, or other relatives' graves? Shintoism and Buddhism place immense value on respecting and venerating ancestors. If Japan takes over the cemetery, it is an abomination to their own culture and ancient religions.
