@ZackPolanski @kennardmatt One response to this is to propose a tightly-drafted new offence of ‘Sowing Hatred (Over Time)’ to neuter all the politicians, shills & hangers-on who regularly poison the public mind with their lies, smears and racism. Think of it as end to harassment, and a generational reset.

You’d think the leader of a political party would have better things to do than continuing to send hatred in my direction. My story, in which his family expressed fears about the dangerously Jew-hating place the Greens are going to, appears to have touched a nerve. Because he knows it’s true. That’s why he’s attacking me and the paper I wrote it for. But he cannot attack the story itself.

@hardlianotion @afneil Indeed, though I hate to say it. I'd go even further and say that there's several politicians right now on the right who are a direct threat to our national security in the way that they are pointing out our armed forces weakness... that they, and Blair, spent 25 years creating.

@hardlianotion @afneil Well there's a large contingent of British forces in Estonia right now. Of course the old European divisions would re-emerge if the sh*t really hit the fan. But for now the actual enemy is right-wing press and politicians in Britain working to destabilise the post-WW2 settlement.

@themeopoli @afneil I was pointing out the French aren't actually our enemies. It's a bit of a stretch to say the countries of Europe are one big unit. People are seconded between several militaries, including the US.

@hardlianotion @afneil You are aware that a French and other NATO top brass are regularly rotated to take charge of bits of our armed forces at various times, and us theirs? The countries of Europe are one big unit, which Trump and his cronies are working hard to pull apart, for the benefit of Putin.

@RealGreenAcres @afneil Not sure what you mean by 'ruined the NHS'. The British establishment have always shat on our forces. It didn't matter how prepared we were for Afghanistan. You will always lose on the ground, when most natives hate you. As U.S & British Marines may soon find out in Persia.

@themeopoli @afneil Stop with the deification of the armed forces, it’s already ruined the NHS. Our brave service personnel have been undermined by successive waves of blundering Ministers and inept top brass. Our troops were woefully under equipped for Afghanistan and suffered as a result.

@novaramedia Note: Israel's nukes haven't deterred Iran from attacking it. Nukes are a fake deterrent. A statement of suicidal last resort. Greens should point this out. An empty vessel like Starmer would in reality let much of Britain be destroyed before ordering their pointless use.
