@galeforceVC When you did a name change did you notify the IRS via a letter or elect the name change on the form you filed for taxes?

we changed the name of our firm with the DE sec of state and also with the IRS / EFTPS. IRS is saying this was never done and we aren't able to submit our payroll taxes now. anyone worked through this before & have tips on rectifying it quickly?

It’s not impossible but one of the top issues is you lose the ability of secondary intros. @apbyers happy to spit ball ideas drawing from experience

I don't like pitch competitions. I want to throw a startup poster session with $ commit at the event. No "winner." Founders get their own space & can bring demos, presos, whatever. Accredited angels mingle, learn, & commit to investing b/w $1-5K at the event. Thoughts?

I know white individuals who made statements they were not registered to vote, walked in and voted on Election Day. I also have seen first hand non-white individuals turned away and told they’re at the wrong voting precinct.

@zsilvs303 Ah. I put on a documentary while I fold and put away. Maybe that will help? I separate out clean clothes into piles by color, cut, and type of clothes eg skirt v jeans. And then I tackle each pile, usually goes very fast.

@theoptimusklein So I’m fine with the washing and drying. It’s the folding and putting away of the clothes that I truly despise.

I swear to god if there was an affordable service for laundry end to end, I’d do it.

@taylorarynm Yes! I think one of the easiest ways to foster this, is companies opening up corporate positions to their CSAs first before publicly posting a position. This allows upward mobility within the company and can boost morale.
